Arrancar Brat
Realizing he was no match for them, Grimmjow showed no intention of resisting. After recovering from his injuries, he cooperated fully with Tsuna and the others, standing quietly to the side and waiting.
After Tsuna and his group finished packing, Urahara Kisuke opened the Garganta leading to Hueco Mundo.
A fleeting look of surprise crossed Grimmjow's face. This was the first time he had ever seen a non-void control the Garganta, which further dispelled his thoughts of resistance.
In a world filled with gray sand, a jagged black space opened up, and Urahara Kisuke led the way out, while Grimmjow, the local, was protected in the center of the group.
Grimmjow wasn't foolish enough to make a move inside the Garganta. As he passed through Garganta, he could clearly feel a faint killing intent surrounding his neck. If he made any sudden movement, he would be beheaded the next moment.
"Is this Hueco Mundo? There's really nothing to see here," Ichigo remarked.
The Hueco Mundo is only darkness, with a crescent moon hanging high in the sky, and a few withered trees standing alone amidst the endless gray sand.
"I'm really sorry about that." Through Ichigo and the others' conversation, Grimmjow had roughly figured out that Ichigo was a fairly easy-going person, which is why he made that sarcastic remark.
This is Hueco Mundo, a place where you can see the whole landscape at a glance. Ichigo, a traveler, might be able to sigh in amazement, but for Grimmjow, this place has remained unchanged since they gained consciousness.
"Let's not talk about anything else, Grimmjow, you should know where the Forest of the Hollows is, right? Take us there," Tsuna said.
"The Forest of the Hollows? What are you doing there?" Grimmjow asked habitually, then indicated he wasn't interested. "Never mind, it's none of my business. Will you let me leave after I take you there?"
"Of course not, you're our guide. How can just the Forest of the Hollows do your job? Once you take us to Las Noches, you can do whatever you want." Tsuna made a promise.
Grimmjow, on the other hand, was silently calculating what his chances of surviving after leading his men to Las Noches would be.
Judging from the tone of their conversation, they are not the same kind of Lord Aizen. They say they are here to make a deal, but if things fall apart, Las Noches will target him, their traitor, first.
"Don't even think about it. If you take us there, we'll die right here," Tsuna said, seeing right through Grimmjow's little scheme.
"Tch." Grimmjow's expression was as if he had swallowed a fly. He really didn't have much to consider; he had no choice. "You guys better stay close, or I won't be responsible if you fall behind."
"That won't do. Bakudō #4: Hainawa: This Rope." Urahara shot out two Bakudo from his hands, tying them around Grimmjow's waist.
"What are you doing?" Grimmjow twisted his body, which didn't affect his movements, but he looked awkward no matter how you looked at him.
"I've brought some tools so you can easily guide me."
Urahara Kisuke pulled out a small board from somewhere, and with the infusion of spiritual pressure, it quickly expanded into a sled with six seats.
When Urahara Kisuke tied the two This Rope to the sled, Grimmjow understood what he was doing without him having to explain.
Dog sledding? Are they treating him like a dog?
"Please, Grimmjow- kun!" Urahara Kisuke said with a sly grin as he sat on his sled, opening his small fan.
The cracking and popping sounds of bones colliding came from Grimmjow's body. Just as he was about to lose his temper, he saw Tsuna sitting in the front seat, and his anger immediately subsided.
Well, he'd already pulled the sled. After all, he was a leopard, an animal that also walked on all fours, so it wasn't unacceptable. Grimmjow could only console himself with this thought.
Leaning to the side, Grimmjow sprinted headlong in the direction he recognized. He had made quite a few enemies in Hueco Mundo, and he just hoped he wouldn't be recognized by some clueless fools.
"Oh my, it suits me surprisingly well~" Fortunately, Urahara's exclamation was carried away by the wind, and Grimmjow didn't hear it.
"Manager, you really know how to make the most of everything," Tsuna exclaimed. Even though Kisuke Urahara Kisuke had arrived in the World of the Living with him, he managed to produce a sled in such a short time.
"It's just a minor modification to Red Princess." Urahara covered his mouth without explaining further.
In the underground space of Urahara Shop, a huge boulder was smoothly sheared away, and Red Princess used the materials on-site in the underground space to modify this sled.
What followed was a tedious journey, barely qualifying as sightseeing. Apart from the shifting dead trees along the way indicating their rapid movement, the scenery remained unchanged.
The imagined trouble from the shamanic creatures didn't happen. As Grimmjow ran, he constantly released his Adjuchas spiritual pressure, afraid that someone might be foolish enough to see his disheveled state.
Logically, Tsuna and his group should have simply reached their destination, but unexpected events often occur during a journey.
"Aaaaaah~" A series of screams came from high above, growing louder and louder.
Grimmjow and the others looked up and saw something new in the unchanging night sky: a small green dot was hurtling towards them.
Grimmjow's expression immediately changed. Regardless of what was that thing on his head, judging from the sound it made, it wasn't some kind of Void creature; at the very least, it was a sentient being.
This won't do. If other Hollows see him like this, will he still be able to stay in Hueco Mundo?
Without the slightest hesitation, Grimmjow immediately changed direction and sped up a bit more. After all, Tsuna ' destination was the Forest of the Hollows, and there was no rule that they could only take one route to get there.
Grimmjow calculated the landing point of the little thing above his head, but he didn't anticipate the little thing's thoughts. The little thing, playing a freefall motion in the air, immediately noticed the sled on the ground changing direction.
Excitement and amusement welled up inside. The little thing's eyes flashed with golden light, it yelled "Super Acceleration!" and, under the influence of spiritual pressure, changed its direction of travel, rushing headlong towards the sled.
Whoosh! Thump!
Just as the little thing wished, she aimed at the fast-moving sled, but the final landing point was slightly off. She didn't hit the sled, but instead crashed headfirst into Ichigo's stomach, taking Ichigo with her into the sand dune next to them.
"It hurts, it hurts!"
As the smoke cleared, Ichigo stood up, clutching his stomach, still holding the little thing that had attacked him in his right hand.
It was Arrancar the size of a human child, wearing a green robe, with short green hair, a bone half-mask on its head, and a red line running across the bridge of its nose. A scar extended from the broken part of the Visored to the line.
"Hey! Who are you?! Why did you launch a surprise attack?!" Ichigo demanded, holding the Arrancar up to him.
Perhaps it was because Ichigo's tone was a bit serious, but the little Arrancar seemed to be startled by the sudden question. His eyes welled up with tears, his mouth opened wide, and he burst into tears.
"Wait, don't cry! Damn it, what should I do?" Ichigo quickly put the little Arrancar on the ground and squatted down next to him, looking distressed. He hadn't suffered any real harm, so he couldn't bear to really get angry at the child.
"Tsuna, please help me!" This had become a habit; whenever in doubt, the first thing to do was to ask Tsuna.
"Nel- chan, right? Ichigo didn't mean any harm, he was just teasing you." Tsuna recognized her at a glance from Arrancar signature outfit; she was one of the most popular Arrancar in the Bleach series, Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck.
After being Tsuna, Nel immediately stopped crying and asked with a smile, "Do you know me?"
"My name is Tsuna, and this is Ichigo. He really likes children, and it's great that you two can become friends," Tsuna said, pointing to Ichigo.
Hearing Tsuna's words, Ichigo felt that he might be entangled in some kind of troublesome thing in the future, but looking at Nel's expectant and curious face as she turned around, Ichigo couldn't bear to refuse, so he could only soften his tone and start talking to Nel.
Before long, Nel had become Ichigo's best friend, clinging to Ichigo leg and refusing to let go.
Suppressing the drool dripping from the brat's calves, Ichigo asked Tsuna, "What's wrong with this kid? How can he have such a small Arrancar?"
Ichigo understood the basics: Aizen would only allow them to try becoming Bleach after the Hollows reached a certain level of power. Ichigo couldn't see anything special about Nel; she was just a noisy and overly friendly brat.
Tsuna didn't answer Ichigo's question. Instead, he turned to Grimmjow and asked, "Grimmjow, who gave Nel head injury?"
Although Tsuna had information sent back by Sora Inoue, Sora Inoue didn't write down everything in detail. At most, Tsuna knew that the Third Espada had been replaced.
"Who else could it be? Nnoitra has disliked her for a long time, and then one day she suddenly disappeared from Las Noches. I never thought that the Third Espada would turn into a brat now."
"Given her original personality, even if it wasn't Nnoitra, some other Arrancar would have tried to assassinate her. She's lucky to have survived," Grimmjow said dismissively.
In Grimmjow's view, Nel's friendly personality was completely unsuitable for survival in Las Noches. How many Hollows who had the opportunity to come into contact with Arrancar hadn't experienced countless battles? It was inevitable that someone who disliked fighting would be eliminated by the Espada.
"Nel is the Third Espada? Stronger than that dead-faced guy?" Ichigo asked in surprise. He still remembered the strength of the Fourth Espada, Ulquiorra. Just looking at the numbers, Nel was actually stronger Ulquiorra.
"That was probably true in the past, but now, unless Nel recovers and they fight again, nobody knows."
Tsuna isn't entirely sure which is stronger, the third or the fourth. Judging from the anime's portrayal, the current Third Espada, Halibel, is far less impressive than the fourth, Ulquiorra.
But Halibel is the future King of Hueco Mundo, and only a fight will tell who is stronger.
"This little thing is so strong?" Ichigo still couldn't connect the drooling child with the word "powerful".
"Orihime didn't come this time. You'll find out once she's healed Nel's injuries."
