Aizen's Free-for-All
Every time Aizen was injured and recovered, it was a moment when his body broke through the Steel Skin and felt the outside world.
Only by fully embracing the power of Hollows can Aizen revert from his white-faced, masked form back to his human form.
Aizen is working towards this goal, but the situation is not very optimistic.
Tsuna noticed that after Aizen's sword wounds were repaired by High-Speed Regeneration, they had a yellowish hue, meaning he had reverted to his Bleach form.
But the next moment, his yellow skin would turn from yellow to a ghastly white, like Steel Skin, from the inside out. The final result of the knife wound's healing was the same as before, covered by a white Steel Skin.
This shows that Aizen had clearly reached the next stage, but for some reason, he took a step back and continued to maintain his current posture.
Even so, there is some good news: Aizen's Zanpakuto no longer has a visible hilt and guard. The pure white blade he holds is somewhat reminiscent of his appearance after merging with the Zanpakuto in the later stages of the original series.
Tsuna stood up, dusted himself off, and Urahara asked curiously, "Are you going to go on stage yourself?"
Throughout this battle, Aizen has been fighting against illusions created by Tsuna. Tsuna only needs to mobilize his spiritual pressure and watch the show. With Aizen's current strength, he is far from being able to force Tsuna to personally take to the field.
"The swords are almost used up, we need to apply one last bit of pressure on him," Tsuna said while relaxing his muscles.
Emiya only used Unlimited Blade Works once; without his continuous projection, the number of swords within it is limited.
As the battle progressed, the number of weapons available for using the Extreme Demon Sword Technique was dwindling, and Aizen showed no sign of moving on to the next stage. Tsuna needed to make other plans.
Tsuna realized that for Aizen, who was completely immersed in the power of High-Speed Regeneration, it was pointless to use thousands of swords to cut him down.
The moment the wound appeared, the Hollow's power would repair his body. The knife wound alone could no longer put pressure on Aizen, which is why the Hogyoku did not respond to Aizen's further thoughts.
The next step is to deliver an attack to Aizen that surpasses his comprehension, in order to put enough pressure on him to break through the white cocoon made of Steel Skin.
The swords vanished, and the wilderness vanished with them. The chaotic Las Noches once again appeared before Aizen's eyes.
"Sawada Tsunayoshi, are you stopping already? There are still fifty swords we can use, right?"
Even without looking at Tsuna, he knew how Aizen's expression was under that mask. The reason he didn't immediately conjure up another character was to give Aizen a heads-up.
"Aizen, whether this next move transforms you into a butterfly or turns you to dust is entirely up to you." Tsuna's voice was hollow and ruthless, yet it instantly ignited a sense of panic within Aizen. "Remember, trust the Hogyoku ~"
In fact, Aizen's combat strength is closely related to his emotions. When Aizen witnessed Ichigo's power after returning from the Dangai, he began to doubt the power of the Hogyoku for the first time.
When Aizen saw that his efforts over hundreds of years were not Ichigo's single training session, his belief in the Hogyoku began to waver.
From the moment he could no longer believe that the power of the Hogyoku was the strongest, the power the Hogyoku provided to him could never catch up with Ichigo, and he was naturally beaten from the inside out by Ichigo who had returned from the Dangai.
The power that Tsuna is about to use far exceeds the scope of battles between Bleach and Hollows. There is only one way for Aizen to survive: to trust the Hogyoku.
Upon hearing Tsuna's words, Aizen's eyes fell on his chest. He suddenly realized that he seemed to only know how to absorb, but had never given the Hogyoku any of his own emotions.
There was no time left for Aizen to study. The eye on Tsuna's shoulder closed completely, the longest horizontal line on his back split open, and Tsuna opened the largest eye on his body.
Then Tsuna transformed into a humanoid creature wearing a dark red suit, a blue and white cloak, and white gloves with red eye patterns.
It is humanoid because the character's head is an amber-colored, spindle-shaped capsule, inside which a cloaked tardigrade can be seen.
Dagodied Dujardin, the Uchuu-Ou, sees the universe as a small room, and Earth as an insignificant Ikkaku within that room. He is the strongest king who controls all the power in the universe.
After the Uchuu-Ou appeared, it didn't even bother to speak to Aizen. Instead, it slowly flew towards the sky, and Aizen was unconsciously carried along with it.
The scene shifted rapidly—earth, sky— Aizen soon found himself in a mysterious space. A sphere beneath his feet was rapidly shrinking. Was this Earth?
Aizen then discovered that the Uchuu-Ou's body was rapidly expanding, its Little Ichi surpassing that of the surrounding planets. However, its expansion had not stopped until it became so large that the planets were merely playthings in its palm.
Aizen no longer knew how to face such a colossal being; before the Universe King, he was merely a tiny speck of dust.
The next moment, Aizen understood why Tsuna wanted him to believe in the power of the Hogyoku.
With a sweep of his massive hand, the Uchuu-Ou swept away the surrounding planets, holding them all in his palm.
Aizen didn't even need to guess what would happen next; countless planets were thrown at him by the Uchuu-Ou.
Should we resist? How should we resist?
Looking at those planets that were many times larger than himself, Aizen had no will to resist. He could only close his eyes and focus all his energy on communicating with the Hogyoku, hoping that the Hogyoku could help him survive this massive meteor shower.
"Call!"
In Las Noches, Tsuna let out a long sigh of relief. The power of the Uchuu-Ou was not easy to mobilize; this meteor shower alone almost drained all his spiritual pressure, nearly leaving him completely exhausted.
"Tsuna, are you... alright?"
Urahara Kisuke paused slightly as he spoke, and this startled not only Tsuna, but also Urahara Kisuke and Gin Ichimaru, Aizen were watching from the sidelines.
As for the Arrancar who were watching from the sidelines, when Tsuna made his move, they felt as if they had actually been transported to the depths of space. The weaker ones had already buryed their heads in their hands like ostriches, while the stronger ones...
"Lilynette, are you sure you want to fight him again?" Stark asked, looking at his Dual Pistols. He Resurrección the moment he arrived in space, but even Resurrección, he wasn't confident he could handle the massive meteor shower.
Compared to an entire planet, Stark's infinitely reloaded Cero seemed like a joke.
"No... no, Stark, you... you tell him... to cancel it..." Lilynette huddled inside the gun. Against an opponent of this caliber, she had no desire for revenge; escape was her only option.
The eyes behind Tsuna's back are slowly closing. Although he has returned to normal, as long as his eyes remain open, the damage that the Uchuu-Ou Aizen will continue.
"I'm fine. Aizen should be the one in trouble right now," Tsuna said, staring intently at Aizen.
At this moment, Aizen was floating in mid-air above Las Noches, his eyes closed, his body in a superposition of collapse and repair.
Logically speaking, Aizen's physical strength couldn't even withstand a single planet, let alone a meteor shower composed of planets.
However, precisely because of the existence of the Hogyoku, at the moment when Aizen's body collapsed and he died, the power of the Hogyoku pulled him back, which put Aizen in a superposition of life and death.
Even Tsuna couldn't tell whether Aizen could survive his attacks.
The eyes behind Tsuna's back are closing, and the time it takes for them to close is the duration of the meteor shower. If Aizen's belief in the Hogyoku wavers even slightly during this time, he will face true death.
Aizen was also aware of his current situation, so when he encountered the first planet, he completely entrusted himself to the Hogyoku, believing that the Hogyoku would allow him to survive this terrifying attack!
It was this absolute belief that kept the power of the Hogyoku within Aizen at its highest level. Aizen did not die in this meteor shower; instead, he used the power of the meteor shower to complete his transformation.
Like forging iron, each planet was a heavy hammer blow to Aizen's body, which was a mixture of Bleach power and Hollow's power.
The Hogyoku is using Aizen's body to forge a sword!
The Zanpakuto that should have been in Aizen's hand had long since vanished without a trace.
As the last planet fell, Tsuna's eyes narrowed to slits—his final power, the final blow to forge Aizen.
The planet passed through Aizen's body. This planet was not without its gains; at the edge of its sphere was a humanoid creature that was pushing Aizen further away.
Did Aizen fail?
No, upon closer inspection, the thing that was constantly swaying with the thrust looked like a tattered cloth, with a crack in the middle and no Hogyoku on it.
Looking at the trajectory of the planet, there was a person standing quietly in the void. This time, he was no longer a humanoid creature. He was still handsome, with a strand of hair on his forehead swaying naturally. His closed eyes were filled with an expression of enjoyment, savoring this new life emerging from its cocoon.
Looking at Aizen like this, Tsuna was speechless. This confident to the point of arrogance immediately became radiant after the sunlight came on, as if the one who was disheveled before was not him, but the Aizen of the past.
"Hey, that's enough. How long are you going to keep up this act?" Tsuna couldn't help but remind him.
"Heh..." Aizen softly, opening his eyes to look at Tsuna. "Even though it was a transaction, I still have to thank you, Sawada Tsunayoshi. Thank you for your efforts in giving me this new form!"
While it's described as brand new, it's not entirely accurate. Aizen's appearance hasn't changed; he's wearing a white, fitted battle robe somewhat similar to Ichigo - Bankai, which appears to be formed using Hollow's power.
Besides that, what's most unusual is that Aizen has neither Zanpakuto nor any trace of the Hogyoku on his body.
(PS: I got carried away writing and wrote two more chapters than originally planned.)
