Impurities Within the Hogyoku
The sounds of physical collisions and spiritual pressure explosions still echoed. From the perspective of the Surveillance Spirit Bug, it seemed that neither the Monk nor Aizen could gain the upper hand.
But in reality, Aizen's expression had already become slightly off. The Monk was fighting using a body formed from the Soul King's Power, which was essentially spiritual pressure, but what about him?
Aizen, who magnifies himself through dozens of lenses, uses his physical body in battle.
After a series of clashes, Aizen was the one who suffered the most. The damage from the punches and kicks actually affected his physical body, while these injuries had no effect on the Monk's spiritual pressure body.
In battles between the strong, even the slightest change can become the key to breaking the deadlock.
The Monk sensed Aizen's discomfort, so he abandoned his physical defenses and focused his attack on the location of Aizen's Saketsu, which was where the Hogyoku was located.
After merging with the Hogyoku, the Hogyoku on Aizen's chest was merely decorative, but the Monk's relentless attacks on the same spot made the discomfort increasingly severe.
Aizen also tried to attack the Monk's position, but it had no effect on Monk at all. There was no way around it; in a battle between flesh and steel, Aizen was clearly at a disadvantage.
As the discomfort within his body intensified, Aizen simply stopped attacking. After parrying one of the Monk's attacks, the enormous concave mirror swept across Aizen's body, and Aizen chose to return to his normal size.
With his body restored, Aizen had much more room to maneuver in terms of spiritual pressure. Whether it was Kido or Zanjutsu, he still had many ways to fight the Monk a few more times.
However, the monk had no intention of following up. He was inside the golden giant and used his spiritual pressure to control Yimoji to write the word "giant" in front of the giant.
The palm of the golden giant passed through the giant characters, and the palm became even larger, and it seemed to cover the sky and the sun as it grabbed Aizen.
Aizen hastily unleashed various Kido and slashes to counter, but none of the attacks made a ripple in his palm. This time, it was Aizen's turn to become the Monk's prey.
Aizen remained calm. Having experienced the Titan form before, he knew how much spiritual energy it consumed, Monk's overwhelming palm technique couldn't possibly hold him for long.
Just as Aizen had expected, after the giant hand grabbed him, the giant form of the Monk, along with the hand, rapidly shrank until the Monk returned to normal human size, leaving only a Senri Touten Palm could reach the heavens and hold Aizen.
"You don't actually think you can take me down with this kind of move, do you?" Aizen said sarcastically, showing no discomfort whatsoever as he let Aizen's hand grip his.
"The Senri Touten Palm alone is certainly not enough..." the Monk said with a mysterious smile, "But what if you add yourself to it?"
The Ichimonji suddenly thrust his Aizen 'Monk chest, precisely at the location of the Hogyoku pattern.
Aizen didn't actually place the real Hogyoku on his chest, but it was still a pattern of the Hogyoku, and there was always some connection between it and the Hogyoku.
Amidst the Monk's continuous powerful punches, he discovered a small secret about the Hogyoku. Thanks to his control over names, he keenly sensed that there were some impurities within this thing called Hogyoku.
Even Aizen, the fusion user, didn't notice this impurity. The Monk was going to use this little thing to his advantage.
The power of fame surged forth from the white ink on the Ichimonji, and the tip of the brush touched the position on the Hogyoku pattern, imbuing the Hogyoku with the power of true name into its impurities.
At this moment, the impurities within the Hogyoku are truly recognized, and their power level will be the same as the Hogyoku itself, and they will not be suppressed by Aizen after merging with the Hogyoku.
A sense of unease rose within Aizen. He quickly unleashed his spiritual pressure to shake off the Monk's hand, but it was too late.
A sharp spike pierced through Aizen's shoulder, and Kyoka Suigetsu bloomed in his palm. Aizen crushed the spike into dust, but the next moment another spike emerged from Aizen chest.
Aizen angrily tore apart the spikes growing from his body one by one, but no matter how hard he tried, the spikes kept emerging from his body.
What exactly is it? What power is it? When did it enter his body?
Aizen questioned Hogyoku Hogyoku, but it offered no response. Why was the Hogyoku, which had been fused with him, now betraying him?
At the entrance of the Central Underground Prison, Tsuna and Urahara looked at each other. They both recognized each other; what was troubling Aizen now was the Kido seal that Urahara had planted in the Hogyoku.
Tsuna gently elbowed Urahara and asked, "Isn't your Kido supposed to only activate when Aizen is weak? Aizen doesn't look weak at all."
Urahara was also completely bewildered. How could he not know about the Kido he had planted in the Hogyoku?
The Kyōka Suigetsu, Kido specifically prepared for Aizen, will be triggered when Aizen's body is extremely weak and the power of the Hogyoku is exhausted.
Judging from Aizen's condition today, Urahara was even prepared that the Kido wouldn't be triggered, so why Aizen still smiling so happily? He Kyōka Suigetsu?
"Kisuke, is this all thanks to you?" Kensei asked excitedly, hugging Urahara's neck. No matter what, he was happy to see Aizen suffer.
"Not really, it's more like the role of the Zero Squad."
Urahara did not take credit for himself. He knew very well that given Aizen's condition, his Kido should not have been activated, and even if it had, it could not have had such a severe effect on Aizen.
At this moment, Aizen was like someone surrounded by countless thorns, constantly waving his hands to cut off the thorns that were sticking to his body.
However, all of Aizen's thorns grew from his own body.
Aizen waved his hands somewhat awkwardly, gritting his teeth as he asked, "What exactly did you do?"
"It's nothing, I just brought the level of some little gadgets inside you to the same level as you." The Monk spread his hands, looking at Aizen.
"Same level? That means your little tricks can't do anything to me!" As he spoke, Aizen was about to launch an attack on the Monk, but the constantly growing spikes on his body were affecting him, and his movements were full of openings.
The following scene was rather cruel. Because of this physical effect, Aizen became the Monk's plaything. He used Zanjutsu, Kido, Hakuda at will, and every time Aizen resisted, the Aizen found an opportunity to attack.
"Manager, I never imagined you'd become Aizen's trump card after all," Tsuna exclaimed.
"I didn't expect that either." Urahara Kisuke was speechless.
The situation is already very clear; Aizen's defeat is only a matter of time. However, because Aizen's strength Beyond Bankai, even the Monk cannot defeat Aizen in one or two moves.
"Wait a minute, Kisuke, didn't you say the Hogyoku would respond to the user's wishes? Couldn't Aizen use the Hogyoku to get rid of the Kido on his body?" Hirako asked curiously. Over the years, he had come to know a little about the Hogyoku.
Before Urahara answer, Tsuna glared at Hirako with annoyance. "You don't think the creator of the Hogyoku would overlook this kind of problem, do you?"
"The Kyōka Suigetsu within the Hogyoku, driven by the power of the Hogyoku. There's no way to cancel this Kido using only the Hogyoku," Urahara Kisuke explained.
"Does Aizen have no way to deal with this Kido right now?" Hirako asked curiously.
"Do you really want Aizen to win?" Tsuna teased, surprised to hear Hirako say something like that that showed Aizen's concern.
"Just curiosity, nothing more. I've also done quite a bit of research on the Kido," Hirako explained.
"This Kido is already activated. We either have to prevent Kido from activating, or we have to forcefully break through the seal after being sealed by the Kido," Urahara Kisuke said. Kido driven by the power of the Hogyoku is not so easy to deal with.
Upon hearing Urahara's explanation, Hirako was at a loss for words, while Tsuna came up with a new idea.
"Speaking of which, without your Kido, shopkeeper, who would have won between these two?"
Tsuna's curiosity immediately sparked a heated discussion among the crowd. Right now, Aizen was getting slapped on the screen, so instead of watching that pointless screen, they might as well discuss who was stronger between the two powerful figures.
"I still side with Aizen. That guy has too many ideas, plus the Hogyoku, a powerful weapon." Kensei was simply terrified of Aizen.
"The Zero Squad's strength should not be underestimated." As one of the longest-living Bleach, Unohana Retsu held the Zero Squad in high esteem.
In the end, everyone focused their attention on Urahara Kisuke, Aizen's old rival, whose opinion was extremely important given his deep understanding of the Hogyoku.
After pondering for a moment, Urahara Kisuke said, "If Aizen is given enough time to gradually adapt to his opponent's power using the Hogyoku's abilities, Aizen has a good chance of victory."
He then changed the subject, "However, nobody knows. A day, two days, or a month? It depends on the Zero Squad's resources."
"So, you're saying you favor the Zero Squad a bit more, sir?" Tsuna chimed in, picking up Urahara. " How many people can fight you for days?" he thought. Actually, Urahara preferred the Monk.
"There's nothing we can do. Aizen has only just learned to Beyond Bankai, and he's ultimately no match for this veteran Bleach." As he spoke, Urahara Kisuke looked at Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto.
Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto can pull out a second-stage Bankai, so it's hard to say whether the Monk might be hiding a second-stage Shin'uchi, or even that he might have already completed the fusion of his Zanpakuto over the endless years.
"I agree." Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto finally concluded. Having witnessed the strength of the Zero Squad firsthand, he would never hesitate to show his respect for Zero Squad.
After Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto spoke, no one argued anymore, and everyone's attention returned to the screen; the outcome was about to be decided.
Aizen looked at the Monk with resentment. He had already guessed that this was Urahara Kisuke's doing, but he no longer had the mind to blame Urahara.
With his goal, which stands high in the heavens, right before him, how could he possibly fall before the throne?
"You're not satisfied, are you? I can grant you one last wish and let you see the throne of the Soul King."
The Monk's tone was full of sarcasm. Far behind him, a large Hidden Character" hidden" appeared. Behind the character for "Hidden Character" was the Inner Palace Aizen had always wanted to reach.
