Soul Society Attacks

After Ichigo gradually mastered the power of a Soul Reaper, Tsuna had a rare period of peace. All Hollows were left for Ichigo and Rukia to deal with. Furthermore, Tsuna had found a new direction. After getting a medical record at the Ishida Residence, Tsuna once again entered secluded training.

This time, Tsuna had no opponent, training alone. However, he had invited two helpers: Kukaku Shiba and Hachigen Ushōda, two masters of Kido. These two were specifically there to reinforce the barrier for Tsuna.

After a Bakudō #77, Tenteikūra, was transmitted, Kukaku Shiba and Hachigen Ushōda acted together, raising a cubic barrier from underground.

This was already the underground space of the Urahara Shop, and Tsuna had buried himself even deeper. Now, it was time for him to emerge.

"Congratulations to Sawada-sensei on emerging from seclusion." As soon as Tsuna stepped out of the barrier, he heard Urahara's lewd voice.

"What wind blew you here, Shopkeeper? You didn't come to pick me up, did you?" Tsuna didn't believe Urahara would go to such lengths just to pick him up.

Yoruichi suppressed Urahara's attempt to beat around the bush and said to Tsuna, "Kid, someone from Soul Society has arrived. The Sixth Division. Ichigo and Rukia just encountered them."

"The Sixth Division?" Tsuna closed his eyes to sense. Indeed, two unfamiliar Reiatsu had appeared in Karakura Town. "Is it Byakuya Kuchiki and Renji Abarai? Should I notify Uncle Isshin?"

"Haha, I'm already here, Tsuna kid." Isshin's voice approached from afar, and in a flash, he appeared before Tsuna. "Quick, let's move. It's time to watch the show."

Isshin was completely in the mood of a spectator, not afraid of stirring up trouble. Tsuna's eyes swept over Urahara and Yoruichi; their faces held a cunning look of amusement.

"Doesn't the Shopkeeper have an invisibility cloak? Couldn't you just go with that? Why wait for me specifically?" Tsuna asked.

"How can Kisuke's cloak be as useful as your illusion techniques? It's inconvenient for conversation. Byakuya kid is a captain after all; he won't be easily fooled by a small gadget." Yoruichi leaped onto Tsuna's head, urging him on. "Since you're out of seclusion, hurry up and don't delay."

As soon as Yoruichi settled on Tsuna's head, she felt her fur stand on end. The entire cat was in a state of panic, startling her into jumping aside and landing on Tsuna's shoulder.

"Kid, what's wrong?" Yoruichi's eyes were filled with terror.

"What's wrong? Yoruichi-san, don't you usually like standing on my head? Come on."

Saying this, Tsuna reached to lift Yoruichi from his shoulder onto his head. Yoruichi immediately used Flash Step to return to Urahara's embrace. "Don't even think about it."

Urahara stroked Yoruichi, still able to feel her trembling. It was an instinctive reaction born from deep-seated fear, a biological instinct of Yoruichi in her cat form.

"Tsuna-san's seclusion this time must have yielded great results." With a little deduction, Urahara could guess the reason for Yoruichi's reaction. Tsuna had become so powerful that Yoruichi didn't dare to provoke him.

"Let's go." Tsuna said with a smile, summoning the Mist Trident. A gust of Mist blew, and the group disappeared from their original positions, leaving behind a stressed Kukaku Shiba and Hachigen Ushōda.

In the night of Karakura Town, at the entrance of a park, Ichigo shielded Rukia behind him, holding Zangetsu in front of him to confront the two people opposite. Ichigo's body was already lying in a corner.

Facing Ichigo were two men in Shinigami Uniforms. One had long red hair, wore black goggles, and had various exaggerated tattoos. The other, besides the Shinigami Uniform, wore a red haori and a flamboyant ornament, exuding an air of nobility.

They were Renji Abarai and Captain of the Sixth Division, Byakuya Kuchiki. Their purpose in the World of the Living was to capture Rukia and bring her back to Soul Society.

"Great, we made it." Isshin and Tsuna's group hid not far away, watching Ichigo with joy.

"By the way, are you guys really just going to watch? If Ichigo's allies gather, it's questionable whether those two can even return to Soul Society."

Tsuna wasn't as optimistic as Isshin. Ichigo now had a group of capable allies. If everyone attacked together, they might even be able to take down Byakuya and Renji.

"Don't worry, Tsuna-kun. We've waited so long for this opportunity; we won't let anyone disturb it so easily. Tatsuki is in Riruka's dollhouse, and Uryu Ishida and Yasutora Sado are training with the Visored." Urahara looked like he had it all planned out.

"What about Orihime?" Tsuna asked. Given Orihime Inoue's personality, she would definitely rush over the moment she sensed Ichigo's Reiatsu.

"She's sleeping soundly at home," Isshin said.

Tsuna looked at Isshin Kurosaki with suspicion. "Uncle, you didn't knock out your future daughter-in-law yourself, did you?"

"Get lost! Masa gave her the juice, and the medicine was from the Urahara Shop. It has nothing to do with me," Isshin said righteously.

"Tsuna-kun, please wait a moment. I need to deal with a few small bugs." Kisuke Urahara spotted the monitoring spirit bugs hidden in the corners, which further confirmed his suspicion that Aizen was behind this move.

"No problem." They were just a few small bugs. Tsuna didn't even draw his Trident; with just a glare, he made the monitoring spirit bugs see the scene they wanted to see.

Fortunately, everyone was within Tsuna's illusion. No matter how much they argued among themselves, Ichigo and the others couldn't sense anything.

"Rukia, come back with us quickly. There's still room for discussion." Renji shouted anxiously. He and Rukia had been friends since childhood and he admired her; his concern was evident.

"I will never allow you to take Rukia back to be judged. Rukia is protecting Karakura Town, yet you want to punish her. What a joke!" Ichigo roared. He already knew the intentions of Renji and Byakuya.

"Stop it, Ichigo. The moment I gave you my Soul Reaper powers, I knew this day would come. Soul Reapers cannot transfer their powers to humans; it's the rule of Soul Society. Let me go back with them to accept my judgment." Rukia calmly stepped out from beside Ichigo. Her expression was serene as she accepted her fate. She didn't want Ichigo to get hurt because of her.

"Did you hear that, you idiot? Your obstruction will only make Rukia's punishment worse!" Renji Abarai said.

"But..." Ichigo looked at Rukia with worry. Fearing Rukia would receive unfair treatment, Ichigo continued to argue, "No, what if your judgment is unreasonable? I'll go to Soul Society with you. I'll prove Rukia's innocence."

Renji's forehead veins bulged. He was about to lose his temper. Because of Ichigo, Rukia lost her powers. Because of Ichigo, Rukia had to face judgment. And now, the culprit wanted to go to Soul Society?

"What a joke! Soul Society isn't a place you can just go to!" Renji's anger flared. He drew his Zanpakuto and pointed it at Ichigo, shouting.

"Then I can't let Rukia go with you. Rukia losing her powers started with me. We should bear the sin of Soul Society together!" Ichigo took a step forward, shielding Rukia behind him, showing his resolve.

Renji couldn't hold back any longer. Every extra second would only increase Rukia's sin. Since Rukia wouldn't go with them, he would take her by force!

Renji Flash Stepped and attacked, lunging forward with a downward slash towards Ichigo. Ichigo blocked horizontally with his sword. The two quickly exchanged blows, and Ichigo's great sword's speed was surprisingly not inferior to Renji's katana. Their swordsmanship was evenly matched, and they exchanged over ten blows at close range.

Renji's expression gradually became strained. As the lieutenant of the Sixth Division, he couldn't quickly subdue a human who had only possessed Soul Reaper powers for two months.

Renji felt a heat on his back, a burning sensation from the cold gaze of his captain, Byakuya Kuchiki.

Renji decided to stop holding back. He wiped his palm on the blade of his Zanpakuto and shouted, "Roar, Zabimaru!"

Renji's Zanpakuto transformed into a trapezoidal, segmented sword. The blade consisted of six sections, each with a sharp protrusion like fangs. The sections could extend and retract freely, giving it the flexibility of a snake's tail.

Renji wielded Zabimaru and swung it upwards. After its Shikai Release, Renji's Reiatsu also increased. The sudden attack caught Ichigo off guard, sending him flying into the sky.

"See how powerful I am? Idiot!" Renji shouted with a ferocious expression, finally venting some of his anger.

"Oh dear, foolish Ichigo." Isshin, who was secretly watching, said with disappointment. Logically, after this period of training, Ichigo shouldn't have been sent flying so easily.

"Fools always have their own kind of thinking. Just watch, Uncle," Tsuna believed that Ichigo, as long as the enemy wasn't overwhelmingly stronger, rarely acted foolishly in battle.

Ichigo easily flipped in mid-air, hovering as if nothing had happened. He pointed Zangetsu at Renji and arrogantly said, "Come up and fight. Don't destroy the buildings!"

Renji, with his hot temper, couldn't stand Ichigo's provocation. Without a word, he extended Zabimaru and swung it at Ichigo, simultaneously using Flash Step to charge at him.

"See, Uncle? Ichigo has a plan," Tsuna said to Isshin.

"You understand him best, kid. Oh, Hachi is making a move," Isshin replied.

Ignoring the battle above, Hachi walked directly towards Rukia Kuchiki, a trace of imperceptible tenderness hidden beneath his cold gaze.

"Let's go back, Rukia," Hachi said calmly.

"Brother, since Ichigo has made his decision, he won't let me leave so easily," Rukia said.

"Him? A Soul Reaper who just got his powers?" Hachi didn't think Ichigo could stop him, or even that Ichigo could defeat Renji. "Let's go, we're leaving."

As Hachi turned around, a gust of sword energy landed in front of him. It had no power, merely kicking up some dust, but it was a casual swing from Ichigo and Renji's fight. This proved Renji wasn't putting any pressure on Ichigo at all.

Hachi looked up, his gaze terrifyingly cold. Just his stare made Renji's hair stand on end. Renji quickly swung Zabimaru like a lasso and said, "Captain, I'll finish this right away!"
