"Huh? Koganehiko, Shiroganehiko, why are you kneeling here? And why are there so many people in the house?"
A tall, powerfully built, rough-looking man walked in. He wore a headscarf and a sleeveless white-and-green shirt, giving him a rather comical appearance. He was one of the Shiba Clan's only two remaining descendants, Kukaku Shiba's younger brother, Ganju Shiba.
Ganju Shiba swept his eyes over the unfamiliar guests, and his expression immediately turned indignant. He jumped up, pointed at Ichigo, and cursed as he approached him, "Who let a damn Bleach like you into our house? Get the hell out!"
Seeing the finger nearly poke him in the face, Ichigo gave Ganju Shiba no quarter and shouted back, "And who are you? Why are you yelling like that?"
"You..."
Just as Ganju Shiba was about to continue arguing with Ichigo, Kukaku Shiba cut him off with a punch. Ganju Shiba clutched his head, tears glimmering in his eyes. He had just been about to demand why Kukaku Shiba was helping outsiders when he saw another two punches coming his way.
After beating Ganju Shiba into a corner, Kukaku Shiba threatened him, "If you dare disturb that young lady while she's resting, I'll throw you out!"
Only then did Ganju Shiba notice the girl lying weakly in Ichigo's arms. It seemed he really had disturbed her rest. Ganju Shiba looked at his sister awkwardly, his voice rising again.
"Big sis, your... your hand!"
"Idiot, what are you shouting for?!"
Suppressed by another punch from Kukaku Shiba, Ganju Shiba quieted down again. This time, he did not doubt his eyes, because the hand Kukaku Shiba had used to hit him was the one that had originally been severed.
"Koganehiko, Shiroganehiko, take Ichigo and Inoue to the guest rooms to rest."
