Giant Battlefield

On the battlefield where Gerard stood, looking at the battle formation of the Bleach Shunsui Kyōraku, the Hollow Yammy, and the Human Jinta, he showed no fear whatsoever; instead, his face was filled with excitement.

Gerard roared a battle cry and launched an attack on Kyōraku and the others. However, to his surprise, Kyōraku three of them had no intention of fighting him head-on and instead kept dodging his attacks.

"If you're so afraid of me, why are you blocking my way?" Gerard shouted arrogantly.

Hearing Gerard's taunts, Jinta and Yammy's faces were filled with anger. These two were known for their short tempers and couldn't stand being mocked.

"Hey, Shunsui Kyōraku, when are we going to stop?!" Yammy shouted as he drew his sword and clashed with Gerard, retreating as he did so.

Kyōraku, who had just unleashed the Katen Kyōkotsu, was unable to answer Yammy for the time being. The reason they hadn't made a move was because they were wary of Gerard's Saint Letters ability, the Miracle.

"To be able to turn the tide at any time—that's the Miracle!" Numerous Reishi particles appeared on Gerard's body. He stretched out his arms towards the sky, clenched his fists, and shouted, "Justice will prevail!"

Gerard's body was expanding, and the power of the Miracle was transforming his severely injured state into a favorable amplification. Before long, a small giant the height of a five-story building appeared on the battlefield, while Kyōraku and the others were just tiny bean-sized in front of Gerard.

Gerard hurled his circular Shield of Justice at Yammy on his left. His weapon was Little Ichi his body, and such a large shield could easily smash Yammy into Yammy.

"I can't wait any longer, Shunsui Kyōraku!" Yammy roared, unleashing the power of his Resurrección. "Rage, you Enraged Beast!"

In an instant, Yammy grew to three times the size of Gerard, with twelve centipede-like legs attached to the back of his enormous body. In his Enraged Beast form, Yammy easily caught the shield that Gerard threw in his palm. With a flick of his two fingers, the shield flew back to Gerard.

Gerard burst into laughter. Facing Yammy's counterattack, he made no attempt to defend himself, instead opening his arms to welcome the return of his shield. "This is real fighting!"

With a whoosh, the Shield of Justice cleaved Gerard in two at the waist, but before Gerard's body could even separate, the power of the Miracle activated once more, and Gerard began to swell again.

Seeing this, Jinta didn't wait any longer. He drew the Zanpakuto he had seized from Soya Ashirogi and invoked his Shikai, "Shōsō-memorial, Ikomomomaba!"

A phantom, several times larger than Yammy's body, appeared on the battlefield. The body standing atop Ikomomomaba's head immediately controlled it, swinging its arms to grab at Gerard.

Seeing that Gerard had broken the deadlock, Kyōraku could only sigh, glance at the sky, and disappear into the shadows.

Hopefully, Senjumaru and the others can make it in time. Until then, we must hold Gerard off.

Ikomomomaba reached out and grabbed Gerard, Yammy, in perfect unison, gathered his spiritual pressure, and two Gran Rey Cero, each possessing immense spiritual pressure, shot straight toward Gerard. This was something Gerard's small round shield could not withstand.

A deafening explosion resounded through the heavens and earth. From the senses transmitted back by Ikomomomaba, Jinta felt a sudden release in his palm; it seemed that the arrogant Gerard Valkyrie had been eliminated by him and Yammy working together?

The large hand of Ikomomomaba swept away the dust, and in the center of the deep pit, Jinta others actually saw a vibrant heart beating continuously.

Those two powerful Cero completely obliterated Gerard's body, leaving only his primordial essence, the Soul King's heart.

Katen Kyōkotsu and Kyoraku slashed at the Soul King's heart, but Kyōraku discovered that the seemingly fleshy heart was harder than metal and stone, and his Zanjutsu had no effect on it at all.

Emerging from the shadows once more, Jinta also activated the Bankai of his Zanpakuto, the Ikomomomaba Hōraku Hakkei, his entire body covered in Hollow's black and red spiritual pressure, clad in Hollow's white armor.

Kyōraku, however, remained lurking in the shadows, already considering whether he should forge an even more powerful force.

After both sides unleashed even greater power, the rematch against Gerard officially began.

Filled with boundless rage, Yammy roared as he charged toward Gerard. Just as Gerard was preparing to use the Sun Shield to block and then slay Yammy with his sword, a small figure appeared before Gerard —it was Jinta, who had activated the Eight Views of Hōraku Hakkei.

Jinta swung a black and red slash that struck Gerard's sword hilt, while simultaneously spitting Cero at Gerard's wrist as he gripped his shield.

These two attacks, of course, did not cause Gerard much damage, but they were enough to disrupt Gerard counterattack.

With both arms attacked, Gerard was left wide open, Jinta Shen Tai quickly dodged away. At this moment, Gerard was about to face Yammy's wrath.

Yammy's hands, flowing with magma, pressed down on Gerard's arms, the Heat sound sending up plumes of black smoke. He even directly clashed his own burning face against Gerard's.

A violent explosion rang out, and at that moment, Yammy was able to unleash terrifying power with every move he made.

Gerard's visor was damaged by Yammy; without its protection, he would likely face the risk of having his forehead blown off again.

Even so, Gerard's face was still full of smiles. He still craved this kind of battle, and there was no Quincy who could continuously boost his power.

The light of the Miracle flashed once more, and Gerard's arms seemed to be able to break free from Yammy's suppression; his strength had increased once more.

Yammy, realizing this, roared again. The Hogyoku responded to his expectations, unleashing even more fury. His power also increased, allowing him to restrain Gerard's movements once more.

This is a battle of anger and the Miracle.
