• Seireitei modernized its infrastructure and split the Research and Development Bureau between Urahara Kisuke's East Division and Kurotsuchi Mayuri's West Division.
• Tsuna met Ichigo and Orihime on the way to the unified exams and worried that Yhwach had not yet attacked the Soul Society.

• Yhwach found an apparent Aizen watching a movie in Muken and tried to recruit him, but Aizen rejected his alliance with the Quincy.
• The apparent Aizen revealed that the lightning cage carried Sawada Tsunayoshi’s spiritual pressure, and Yhwach chose not to release him before leaving.

• Yhwach opened the curtains and visited the Soul King, then explained that he had found Soya Ashirogi in the Dangai and made him his blade.
• Yhwach ordered Soya Ashirogi to strike the Soul King, and Soya split the crystal seal in two.
