The Divided Battlefield
The Quincy army's gaze suddenly shifted; the surrounding environment changed, and in the blink of an eye, they found themselves in a completely unfamiliar location.
Judging from the massive Seireitei Wall, they had been repositioned. When the Quincy looked up, they saw Bleach led by Vice-Captain or Seated Officer appearing before them.
Right after diverting Bambietta's attack, Ukitake had already spread the power of his Bankai, incorporating it into the Quincy army's territory as well.
Following the principle of soldiers against soldiers and generals against generals, Ukitake scattered the ordinary Quincy in various corners of Rukongai and Seireitei, and then placed Bleach squads as their opponents.
Not only Rukongai, but also Seireitei was a battlefield in this war.
Ukitake's abilities haven't yet spread to the entire outer perimeter of Rukongai, so he can only place some of the battles within the Seireitei.
Fortunately, the implementation of the evacuation plan put all the people and important documents in Seireitei under protection. At this point, there would be no problem with Seireitei engaging in battle again; only some buildings would be damaged.
Thanks to Kirinj's speed, the Bleach of Seireitei had largely recovered after being cleansed by a large amount of purifying hot springs, allowing Ukitake to complete the arrangement.
After settling the ordinary Quincy soldiers, the next step was to arrange the Sternritter's opponents. With the information provided by Tsuna and Urahara, this wasn't too difficult.
Ukitake glanced at Kyōraku, Kyōraku said, "Let's proceed according to plan. We must make good use of our allies' strength."
After receiving Kyōraku's approval, Ukitake quickly manipulated the familiar Reishi on the Impermanence Diagram, and one opponent after another appeared before the Sternritter members.
"Huh? Where is this place?" Bambietta was assigned to an open area with lines she couldn't understand drawn on it, as well as two netted devices.
"Was that your opponent? Did you enjoy that shot earlier?"
An arrogant voice rang out from across the street from Bambietta. She recognized it immediately—it was Karin, the one who had kicked her Reishi ball back, and who had given it such an exaggerated name, something like Crescent Moon Blade...
"Karin, don't let your guard down, the other side are members of the Knights." A chill announced the arrival of their master, and Toshiro, clad in ice dragon armor, appeared behind Karin.
"No? What, it's you again? Uncle Ukitake isn't reading some kind of weird gossip, is he?" Karin asked in surprise, her eyebrows dancing. It seemed like the people in Seireitei were obsessed with some strange stuff.
"I'm just here to watch over you in Isshin senior Yixin. This football match won't be easy."
Toshiro looked at this familiar place. It was here that he and Karin gradually became acquainted. Karin, who possessed Quincy abilities, was often dragged to Soul Society by Yuzu during holidays.
Seeing that Karin liked soccer, the wealthy and powerful female head of the Kuchiki family, who was on good terms with Karin, built this soccer field for her and even organized the first soccer tournament in Soul Society. It was during this soccer tournament that Toshiro and Karin became acquainted; before that, they had only met a few times because of Isshin.
Askin scratched his head, looking at the dark surroundings; he seemed to be trapped in a confined space.
"I'm sorry, I can only serve you with a sword."
The dim lights came on; this was actually the underground space of the Fourth Division. Unohana Retsu Zanpakuto, her voice somewhat sinister.
After she took up her blade again, the Fourth Division's underground training grounds underwent continuous expansion. As someone who was not short of money in Soul Society, Unohana Retsu increased the intensity of her training grounds several times over.
Ukitake chose this place as Askin's battlefield because he didn't want to release Askin, this powerful weapon on the battlefield, and let Unohana Retsu finish him off in a confined space.
"Is that your opponent? This is troublesome."
Despite saying this, Askin didn't seem bothered at all. He had already witnessed Unohana Retsu's blood-changing ability. As long as he used blood as the target of adjustment, he had plenty of ways to take down Unohana Retsu.
Unohana Retsu was certainly aware of this information, so her expression remained quite serious; this battle would not be easy.
However, the next moment, Unohana Retsu's furrowed brows relaxed.
"Aunt Unohana, is that you here?" It was Yuzu who spoke, and she greeted Askin very cutely.
Upon hearing Yuzu's voice, Unohana Retsu's expression immediately softened. There was nothing to worry about in this battle anymore. She gently patted Yuzu's head and corrected her, "Call me 'older sister'."
"But Ichigo- nii said we should respect the elderly..."
Knowing what Yuzu was about to say, Unohana Retsu quickly covered Yuzu's mouth. Damn it, Ichigo Kurosaki, how could you be so honest? You've corrupted such a cute little sister!
For some reason, Askin felt nothing when facing Unohana Retsu, who was full of murderous intent, but the appearance of Yuzu made his hair stand on end.
Outside the undeveloped area of Rukongai, Gremmy looked at the sea of pink flowers that appeared before him and said angrily, "You think you can deal with me with just one captain? You really underestimate me, the strongest Quincy!"
"Idle talk is meaningless, make your move, Gremmy Thormu!"
A sea of pink flowers surrounded the two of them. Byakuya's Senbonzakura attacks could strike in its most powerful form anywhere, regardless of the terrain. Ukitake chose this spot to prevent the two area-of-effect attackers from causing widespread damage to the area.
Like Gremmy, Ukitake was also thrown into the wilderness by Giselle. This man's ability to scavenge corpses was too strong, and Ukitake dared not let him touch any living creature.
Giselle scratched her head, revealing a bored and disgusted expression. With no one around, she no longer needed to pretend to be a cute little girl. With a smirk and picking her nose, she looked every bit the rough and tough guy.
"Oh? So this is your true self? Finally, you're not pretending anymore?"
Giselle looked up and saw Hirako crouching upside down in the sky not far away, twirling his Zanpakuto.
Giselle's nerves twitched with anger, but she quickly reverted to her girlish demeanor, pointing a finger to her lips as she uttered the harshest words.
"Since that's the case, could you please, sir, go and die first?"
Hirako was completely unmoved; instead, she felt disgusted. "When you're pretending, could you at least wipe your finger first...?"
At Soi Fon's training ground, Robert Agutron, dressed in a white suit, looking like an older white man, and wearing square-framed glasses, appeared.
Before he could even see his surroundings clearly, he suddenly felt a pain in his back and quickly dodged. A Hōmonka appeared on his back.
"Second Division Captain Soi Fon, her ability is Two-Hit Kill," Robert said, looking at Soi Fon who had reappeared in his original spot.
"If you know what's going on, you'd better run." A cold glint flashed from Soi Fon's Zanpakuto as she vanished from the spot.
Robert showed no fear, activating the power of the Saint Letters N, instantly becoming agile, and engaging in a rapid offensive and defensive battle with Soi Fon on the field.
Bazz-B, who was running through Seireitei, suddenly saw a Quincy uniform he recognized appear in front of him and stopped in his tracks.
During his time in Soul Society, Bazz-B worked as a teaching assistant at the academy. When the alarm sounded, he first made sure the students were safely evacuated before rushing out of Seireitei, which caused him to be a step slower than the other captains.
Now it seems he wasn't entirely satisfied. Bazz-B grinned; Ukitake, that kind old man, hadn't forgotten him and had brought him prey.
"Hey, state your name so I can see who you are in the Knights?" Bazz-B very confident; his outgoing personality meant he could recognize everyone in the Knights.
The person opposite him removed his hood, revealing someone Bazz-B didn't recognize at all. His entire face seemed frozen, and his mouth moved with a mechanical quality, uttering, "Saint Letters... H..."
The Saint Letters H? The one opposite him is the Saint Letters H, so who is he? Bazz-B's mind was filled with doubt.
A young man with long black hair, barefoot, and listless eyes, who looked somewhat dim-witted, appeared before Kenpachi Zaraki.
Looking at the two protruding tongues, Kenpachi Zaraki said with great dissatisfaction, "That Jūshirō Ukitake actually assigned me this kind of opponent!"
Standing opposite Kenpachi Zaraki Saint Letters, Nionzo Huasso tilted his head in confusion, seemingly unable to understand Kenpachi's words.
Kenpachi Zaraki covered his forehead speechlessly. He wasn't a person who liked to use his brain, and now he had run into someone even more brainless than him. Oh well, if he acted quickly, he might be able to steal someone else's prey.
Wearing a five-pointed gold mask, Mask De Masculine appeared in a dense Rukongai. The bald little devil James, sitting on his shoulders, said somewhat fearfully.
"Sir, where is this place? I'm a little scared."
"Don't be afraid, the great hero Mask De Masculine will definitely protect you!"
A discordant voice came from the street corner, "What is this? Jūshirō Ukitake wants us to deal with this self-aggrandizing bastard?"
Despite her boastful tone, she was petite and short, emerging from the street corner. She wore a mask that resembled a phantom; she was the Arrancar, Lilynette.
"I'm sorry, the child doesn't know any better." Stark quickly followed, pressing Lilynette's head as he spoke, a somewhat apologetic smile on his face.
"It's alright, let death forgive those villains who slander heroes!" Mask De Masculine put James down and made no attempt to hide his muscles.
"That won't do." Stark's tone turned serious, his gaze sharpening. "These are my comrades, whom I would risk my life to protect!"
Gerard, who also liked to show off his muscular physique, appeared in an unfinished construction site. Ukitake originally intended to throw him far away, just like Gremmy, but considering Gerard's abnormal abilities...
Being closer to Seireitei means that if Seireitei is unable to win, they can send reinforcements as quickly as possible.
"What? There are quite a few of you, aren't there? Are you that afraid of me?" Gerard laughed heartily, showing no sign of the pressure of fighting multiple opponents.
On the unfinished rooftops to Gerard's left and right stood a burly, bald man and a skinny, red-haired boy, respectively; they were Yammy and Jinta.
Directly opposite Gerard, Shunsui Kyōraku threw off his straw hat, crossed his twin swords in front of him, and assumed a fighting stance. "Too many? I even think it's not enough. Facing the Soul King's heart, more people wouldn't be too many!"
