True Lord Eternal Fire stared in utter bewilderment—he had never known his own Myriad Books Mountain had arms and legs, let alone that it could do handstands!
Hearing the surprise in True Lord Eternal Fire's voice, Venerable White asked, puzzled, "Fellow Daoist Eternal Fire, you didn't know Myriad Books Mountain was alive either?"
True Lord Eternal Fire smiled bitterly. "If I'd known, wouldn't I have warned you?"
"True." Venerable White nodded. "Anyway, come over quickly. Your Myriad Books Mountain is feeling very low right now... I think it needs some comfort from you. Parts of its slopes have also collapsed, leaving it bare in a lot of places. It probably needs repairs."
Myriad Books Mountain was more than merely downhearted. Its body twitched again and again, and the shadow over its heart was enormous. It felt that it would never love doing handstands again. Both its arms were broken, too... could they even be fixed?
"I'll be right there." True Lord Eternal Fire hung up and sped toward Myriad Books Mountain.
Northern River's Loose Cultivator looked at Myriad Books Mountain, sprawled on the ground and groaning. "Speaking of which, how are we supposed to film the next scene?" The mountain was covered in injuries. Would they have to find another mountain and reshoot the half of the film they had already made?
Venerable White replied, "Let's find a way to patch it up. Or we can film smaller scenes without any wide shots. For instance... there isn't much damage behind Myriad Books Mountain. We can finish filming there."
"I suppose that's our only choice," Northern River's Loose Cultivator said.
The seniors of the Nine Provinces Number One Group settled the unconscious members of Jacob's Film Crew somewhere safe, then sorted and put away the cameras and props.
