Shura Path floated in the void of space, experiencing the sensation of weightlessness.
As he drifted through the void, the empty space around him steadily drained away at him, thinning the surging Law Power within his body. The familiar feeling made him let out a soft moan.
At that moment, his thoughts returned to his childhood, when he had first left the Orora World aboard the Spacetime Fortress and experienced weightlessness. He had been utterly at a loss.
Back then, an old senior had mocked him, then taken the initiative to help.
In those days, the Ancient Aurora aboard the Spacetime Fortress had been as close as siblings. The atmosphere had been warm and harmonious, nothing like the scheming—and even fratricide—that came later, after they were stranded in the Star Curtain World.
The topic they discussed most was finding a new, bountiful world to exploit and plunder, then returning with a fortune to live carefree lives. They had been full of beautiful dreams for the future.
But all of that became history when the Spacetime Fortress met with disaster.
Cut off from the Ancient Aurora World in this perilous, untamed world, the explorers were like children surrounded by beasts, struggling to survive and doing everything they could to adapt to an oppressive environment that rejected them. They even had descendants, but they never managed to **escape the perilous situation, let alone conquer it.
As their ideals diverged, civil war broke out among the Ancient Aurora. Large numbers of them died at one another's hands, and amid those brutal conditions, Shura Path gradually became the demon Little Trumpet people knew, wandering in the shadows.
Lost in memories of the past, Shura Path took a deep breath.
He drew on the rootless source of Law Power within him, further strengthening his body.
