Though the scene was ugly and ridiculous, Reilo couldn't laugh at all.
This Superhuman was indeed completely different from any other Superhuman he had ever encountered. That was Reilo's most immediate impression.
The abilities of Superhumans.
Once their Mental Power became tangible, they could launch all sorts of unique attacks. Setting aside their support techniques and their ability to summon all kinds of bizarre, powerful strategic weapons, the most basic ability shared by all Superhumans was Superbody Transformation: the power to control various Magic Materials and unleash fantastical attacks.
To be specific,
Reilo's Superbody Transformation, achieved by making his Mental Power tangible, could only enhance his own body, multiplying his speed, strength, and reflexes. A Superhuman's Superbody Transformation, by contrast, could enhance and control any Magic Material. That included a scholar's body, the Dream Owl currently under control, all kinds of magical metals, and the corpses of high-level Magical Beasts.
Reilo had even seen several rather powerful Superhumans forcibly draw magical residue from the air and soil, using their tangible Mental Power to temporarily perform a technique much like the elemental summoning of Natural Law scholars!
But now...
The Superhuman stared at Reilo with an eerie expression for a while. Then the vast expanse of gravel beneath his feet suddenly surged upward in layers, like a fountain. As Reilo watched in astonishment, a gigantic, hundred-meter-tall sandman abruptly appeared!
The sandman towered over the desert, standing like a mountain. A membrane of Mental Power covered its body, and it opened its eyes to look down at Reilo, tiny beneath it.
"How is that possible?!"
Reilo looked slightly shocked.
"Superbody Transformation of non-Magic Materials?"
In simple terms, this Superhuman could use an astonishing amount of tangible Mental Power to infuse non-Magic Materials, spreading his Mental Power throughout their inner spaces and forcibly
