It was not a god whose soul and divine body had been condensed through faith. Its mind had not been tainted by the mottled Mental Power of countless billions of believers' ceaseless prayers. It possessed its own independent consciousness, even its own likes, dislikes, and personality. Though this was only one of its avatars, like the bizarre emotional war machines summoned by the Superhumans' Matrix Base, any one of its avatars could call upon the power of its true body.
At that moment, it sensed no instinctive affinity from this being called Reilo Star.

Just like the Superhumans, it was filled with an indescribable sense of unfamiliarity and a faint hostility.
Its mission was to nurture civilizations with the potential to grow, helping them resist Superhuman invaders. It should instinctively feel an affinity for the civilizations of this world. Yet it felt none toward this creature called Reilo Star.
It had encountered this phenomenon only a handful of times in its long life.
Nearly all the few beings it had met were extremely unusual mutant life-forms. The one that had left the deepest impression on it was an apocalyptic being whose mission was destruction and upheaval—or, as it called it, creating natural disasters.
