Background / History

Qian Renhan was raised within the Qian Clan of Martial Soul Hall. From childhood, he practiced swordsmanship under his grandfather, Qian Daoliu, at Sword Peak. He became close to Qian Renxue through their shared training, though his relationship with Qian Xunji remained distant and deteriorated further after he began calling him “Old Man.” 4 6 28

At age six, Qian Renhan awakened the Fallen Angel Martial Soul. Its extreme darkness, yin-cold, and evil attributes placed him in direct symbolic opposition to the Qian Clan's Six-Winged Angel lineage, causing members of the clan to distance themselves from him. Qian Daoliu nevertheless accepted him while warning that he would personally kill Qian Renhan if he became an Evil Soul Master. 12

Bibi Dong struck Qian Renhan shortly after his awakening. Though he outwardly accepted Qian Daoliu's request not to hold the incident against her, he privately resolved that he would not forgive her if she harmed Martial Soul Hall again. 10

At seventeen, unable to comprehend Sword Intent, he entered the City of Slaughter seeking life-and-death combat. There he fought without relying on his martial soul in the Hell Slaughter Arena, developed his killing path, inherited the Asura Demon Sword, and chose the difficult route offered by the Asura God. 45 48 56

After five years away, he returned believing Qian Renxue had died. His fury led him to confront Bibi Dong with nine spirit rings and his Ten-Winged Fallen Angel Martial Soul. 62 63 64

Qian Renhan later ascended to the God Realm as the Asura God's successor. He subsequently left the God Realm for the Dou Qi Continent, where the world's laws shattered his spirit rings and compressed his former power into a new cultivation system. 187 204
