• Zhang Xiangyun and his allies traced the stolen Futuo Tower Fragments to Wei Ren, whose hidden contact sent a message across Taiyi Academy before Wei Ren disappeared into the sea.
• Yu Sui studied the Reverse Star Technique with Wu Huaiwei, learned the Black Tortoise Star Array from Zou Qian, and eventually earned permission to leave Moon Mountain.

Yu Sui and her allies uncovered Xuan Kui’s operations while Lan Poison attacks spread through Taiyi and its outer city. The arc ended with Yu Sui drawing Ou Rushuang toward Taixu Hall as Xue Mushi prepared to find Xuan Kui’s Fog Sea base.

• Yu Sui visited Xuan Kui’s hidden Lan Poison workshop with Ou Rushuang, Zhang Xiangyun, and Nian Qiuyan, while Qingkui ordered Qingyang’s people withdrawn from Taiyi.
• Qin Chongxue lured Mei Chengyu to the Beast Bone Boat with Yan Xiaochuan as bait, but Mei Chengyu’s allies joined the battle and Yu Sui and Xue Mushi fought Xuan Kui’s ambushers nearby.
• Qin Chongxue shot Mei Chengyu with an arrow carrying what he believed was Orchid Medicine, but Wenren Xu revealed he had switched the bottle and later killed Qin Chongxue.

Yu Sui exposed Taixu Hall’s Xuan Kui operation and helped uncover the Lan Poison scheme, then became entangled in Zhongli Que’s attack and Chu Jin’s arrest. Chu Jin’s identity as Nangong Ming’s daughter was revealed, and the arc ended with Nangong Ming taking Han Ziyang to the palace over a matter Old Man Yan linked to the Non-War Covenant.

• Yu Sui and Wan Qi escaped Taixu Hall with Yue Shu’s bamboo tube, and Mei Chengyu used its inscription to expose the Futuo Tower Fragments and prompt a search of the estate.
• Ou Rushuang’s hidden base on Red Island was uncovered, Zhang Xiangyun was killed, and the Sages defeated Ou Rushuang and rescued the captives held in the Mirage.
• Yu Sui returned to Taiyi, reconciled with Mei Chengyu over their secrets, and revealed her bargain with Dean Zou and her connection to the Nangong Family and Xuan Kui.
• Yu Sui and Zhongli Que planned to place the Mountain Spirit in a Number Mountain, but attackers ambushed Zhongli Que’s party and sent her over a cliff, and Chu Jin stole her Listening Wind Ruler.

Yu Sui and Mei Chengyu survived Ou Rushuang’s attack, and Mei learned more about his family and Shuizhou’s past while agreeing to help extinguish Sea Fire. Back at Taiyi, Yu Sui pursued her own cultivation and dealt with Chen Jie’s spying, Sheng Zui’s conflict, and the approaching Hundred Schools Night Walk.

• Zhongli Que saw Madam Sun’s shadow merge with another, while Shen Tianxue and Pei Daiqing revealed Wei Ren’s new Five Elements Light Core and offered to train him.
• Ou Rushuang captured Yu Sui, but she escaped his poison attack by triggering Five Elements Rebellion and calling Mei Chengyu to her aid.
• Mei Chengyu broke Ou Rushuang’s formation, and Yu Sui used Black Flame to defeat him before the sea eye separated them.
• Mei Chengyu recovered memories of his father Donglan Xun and agreed to help Shuizhou find natural sea eyes and extinguish Sea Fire if Sage Chang Gen would not seal his memories.
