The arc ended with Yu Sui and Gu Gan heading toward Nether Lake as Wei Ren, Wan Qi, and Ling Jian encountered Lu Wanwan in the Sea of Stones.

• Princess Shangyang and Wei Jianing invited Yu Sui to the Golden Pearl Banquet, where Yu Sui brought Li Jinshuang and used the archery contest to shape how others saw her reaction to Chu Jin’s imprisonment.
• Mei Chengyu revealed his ties to the Princess of Yan Kingdom and Donglan Xun, formed a Soul Contract with Yu Sui, and warned her about the Night Walk’s rules and dangers.
• Yu Sui defended Mei Chengyu from challengers with her Scorching Sun Array and Wind and Thunder Array, then escaped with him amid clashes involving Gu Gan and the other students.
• At the School of Names’ first-round ceremony, the Golden Key chose Yu Sui, and she fought off attackers before escaping with Wan Qi while Mei Chengyu protected their group.
• Yu Sui traded the Golden Key to Zuo Qiushan to free Wan Qi, then used a hidden plan to recover it and sent Wan Qi to rescue Sheng Zui from Nether Lake.
• Mei Chengyu found the Solution Curse and broke the True Spirit Chain, while he relived memories of his family and learned that his future self called the Ghost Dao Sage “Master.”

Yu Sui and her companions survived the Nether Lake crisis, where the Yin-Yang Fish marked Yu Sui and Gu Gan, and Yu Sui later brought Mei Chengyu back from the Butterfly Dream. The group’s ties and plans shifted as Xue Mushi endured heavenly thunder, Mei Chengyu recovered his memories, and Gongsun Qi uncovered the truth about his lost sister and the child Chang Gen had taken.

• Wan Qi, Wei Ren, Ling Jian, and Ji Meng captured Lu Wanwan, but Shen Liu and Feng Xiu rescued her as the Yin-Yang Fish appeared over Nether Lake.
• Sheng Zui woke and killed Xu Dian, then attacked the others until Yu Sui entered the Scorching Sun Array, and Wuxiang Snake left Sheng Zui and entered Yu Sui’s shadow.
• Instructor Lian Kun and Bu San attacked the students, and Gu Gan fell into Nether Lake while Yu Sui’s Soul Contract with Mei Chengyu was severed.
• The Yin-Yang Fish pursued Gu Gan and Yu Sui, then vanished after Yu Sui drew the black fish into her Nine Provinces Star Sea and subdued it with Black Flame.
• Yu Sui found Mei Chengyu in the Butterfly Dream and woke him, and he recovered his memories, explained that the Thousand Mechanism Heart had severed their Soul Contract, and vowed to stay with her.
• Xue Mushi survived the Myriad Phenomena Heavenly Thunder, while Yu Sui and Mei Chengyu endured the pain of their shared sensations and grew closer.
• Mei Chengyu returned to Yu Sui after defeating both Deans, while Gongsun Qi learned from Murong Xiao that Chang Gen had taken his younger sister’s child, Mei Chengyu, who was now Chang Gen’s disciple in Taiyi.

Yu Sui and Mei Chengyu faced the dangers at Thousand Foot Cliff as Mei Chengyu recovered his memories and confronted Sage Chang Gen. The arc left Yu Sui tracking Gongsun Qi on Mechanism Island while her Five Elements Light Cores continued to evolve.

• Murong Xiao told Gongsun Qi that Zhao Yuxiang was alive, while Yu Sui and Mei Chengyu drew close until Wu Huaiwei arrived and warned Yu Sui that her Yin Qi could consume her unless she recovered Gu Gan’s Yang Qi.
• Yu Sui and Mei Chengyu investigated Ji Meng’s beastification, and Yu Sui helped Wei Ren destroy the Charm Serpent before the group set out for Wujian Mountain Abyss.
• Gongsun Qi attacked Mu Yong'an and Yan Xiaochuan at Taiyi Academy, and Yan Xiaochuan refused to leave Mu Yong'an’s grave after learning Zhao Yuxiang had survived.
• Yu Sui held off pursuers at Thousand Foot Cliff as Ruoshui Qingni flooded the ravine, then found Song Dongling’s corpse and received his memories from Mei Chengyu.
• Mei Chengyu recovered his memories as Donglan Li, confronted Sage Chang Gen over Gongsun Xi’s death, and left the burning Taoist Saint Hall after declaring he would fight him.
• Mei Chengyu and Sun Heng learned that divination foretold the strange fire would come before Qingyang perished, while Gongsun Qi refused to forgive his enemies and confirmed the Fire-Absorbing Ice Stone repelled his Qi.
• Yu Sui helped Sheng Zui and Gu Gan defeat Qin Yidong, then withdrew from the Night Walk Trial and asked Zou Qian to tell her what had happened at the Taoist Saint Hall.
• Yu Sui learned Gongsun Qi was Mei Chengyu’s uncle and his only family, tracked him to Mechanism Island with the Mountain Spirit, and reached the Ninth Realm as her Five Elements Light Cores continued evolving.

Yu Sui sealed the Yin Yang Double Fish and returned to Qingyang, where she confronted Nangong Ming and Lady Su over the Primordial Soil and her family’s plans. As the Golden Armored Army moved against Shi Yuezhen, Yu Sui sought Gongsun Qi’s help while Lady Su ordered the Mute Woman to kill Qingkui.

• Yu Sui accepted the Ghost Dao Summoning Fire, sealed the Yin Yang Double Fish beneath the sea, and reunited with Mei Chengyu, who learned that she had killed Gu Gan and taken the Yang Fish.
• Mei Chengyu and Gongsun Qi argued over their past and Yu Sui’s family, while Yu Sui returned to Taiyi and later joined the search for Gu Gan before taking A Jing with her to Qingyang.
• Yu Sui brought Su Xingchao to the Nangong residence and offered him to Sheng Zui, who killed him after accusing him of stealing the Futuo Tower inscription.
• Yu Sui told Nangong Ming that she knew about the Primordial Soil inside her, then defended Mei Chengyu against her father’s opposition and revealed that she loved him.
• Yu Sui told Lady Su that Nangong Ming had asked whether she would die to provide the Primordial Soil to cure her mother, then left despite Lady Su calling her back.
• Gu Jun led the Golden Armored Army to search for Shi Yuezhen, while Nian Qiuyan contacted Yu Sui for help and she asked Gongsun Qi to rescue Shi Yuezhen.
• Gongsun Qi recognized Zhao Yuxiang as the man training children for Luosha and left with A Quan and Situ Jin to help Shi Yuezhen.
• Yu Sui redirected the Capital City Patrol Team as Nian Qiuyan escaped, while Lady Su asked the Mute Woman to kill Qingkui and gave her a medicine bottle.
