Nature

Wind Disaster is a Source Disaster: a fundamental, cyclical mechanism that reclaims all things and returns them to the greater cycle. It has no fixed territory; given the proper conditions, it can arise in any realm. The torrents inhabited by fusionists are only particularly large accumulations of its Disaster Energy. 434

Its intrinsic purpose is absolute dissolution. Once triggered, it destroys stable structures of order, reducing matter to particles and leaving it in perpetual flow. 190 It is apparently unconscious rather than a deliberate ruler, unlike more self-aware Source Disasters such as the Drought Disaster. 445 561
