After Qin Shaofeng returned from a ten-day secret-realm illusion, the System intervened and made the little creature his contracted spirit. Qin named it Qiuqiu. 196 Although the contract makes Qin its master in a literal sense, Qiuqiu eventually considers itself more his follower and companion than a subordinate. 443

Its teasing can be cruel. Qiuqiu openly enjoyed Qin's suffering while he refined the Feather Blade, despite having the means to put him into a deep sleep during the process. It withheld that help because enduring the pain would temper Qin's Spiritual Sense. 303
