"That's Mad-Eye Moody. They say his magic eye can see through an Invisibility Cloak," said a student near Matthew.

When Moody walked out from the teachers' table, everyone noticed that his gait was unnatural. One of his legs was a wooden prosthetic.

Dumbledore continued, "Professor Moody was once a Senior Auror. I am sure you will learn a great deal from him."

"Welcome Professor Moody to Hogwarts!"

Although Professor Moody did not offer a single polite remark and merely waved at the students, they still gave him a warm round of applause.

After greeting the students, Professor Moody returned to the teachers' table.
