Matthew was jolted awake once more by an intense sensation of falling.
After waking, he quickly looked around. Everyone else in the camp had vanished without a trace.
At the center of the camp, the flames in the bonfire were grayish white.
Beyond the bonfire's reach, everything was enveloped in endless Gray Fog.
Matthew had been pulled into this mysterious Gray Fog World again.
"Just as expected, I've been pulled into this world again. The good news is that the glowing Antlered Maiden isn't here." Matthew swiftly got to his feet, drew his wand, and vigilantly scanned the Gray Fog beyond the camp.
He could vaguely make out that the environment within the Gray Fog differed from the one he had encountered last time. This made him increasingly certain that this was the Divine Kingdom world Jack had entered through the Dream Ritual. Though the surroundings were somewhat different, the world Jack had entered had also been filled with Gray Fog, strange and ever-changing.
Those who entered this world using the Dream Ritual had to find a glowing crack if they wanted to leave.
According to the Mining Brotherhood, those cracks were Convergence Nodes with the real world. By passing through a Convergence Node, one could return to reality.
The areas where such cracks existed were called Treasure Lands.
Using the Dream Ritual to enter this world from different locations would lead one to different places.
Moreover, even when entering the dream from the same location, one could sometimes appear somewhere unknown.
Thus, getting lost in the Gray Fog was the most likely danger one would encounter during the Dream Ritual.
Matthew was not afraid of getting lost in the Gray Fog. He possessed the ability to travel back at any time and had no need to search for glowing
