Nearly a month had passed since the Martial Magic Tournament ended. Donald's Water and Fire Elements had both risen to nearly six hundred Divine Elements, and he expected to advance to High-level magic apprentice like Wesley in about ten days. He had not slacked off on his Magic Models, either. Besides learning the twin spell of Blazing Meteor and the thirty-eight-element Water spell, Frost Ice Rain, he had also raised his defensive spells in the Earth, Wood, and Wind Elements to the twenty-four-element Intermediate Magic Apprentice level.
Ever since he had begun studying magic, Donald had faced the same problem: he advanced too quickly and never had enough time to develop a comprehensive range of spells. But at this point, before advancing to High-level magic apprentice, he had finally filled in the gaps in his intermediate-level magic.
In terms of the quality of his offensive and defensive spells, if not their number, Donald had finally reached the level of an ordinary Intermediate Magic Apprentice.
And if one considered the monstrous total of his Divine Elements across all Five Elements—already above the threshold for advancing to Level 1 Magician—along with the power boost from his perfect Divine Elements, Donald might even have stood a chance against a Level 1 Magician.
