Zeus's words made Athena's first reaction disgust.

Zeus was the bulldozer of the God Realm, treating every goddess in Olympus as part of his harem by default. He didn't even care about the goddesses' husbands.

And how many times had he preyed on his own daughters?

She, Artemis, and Hestia had all escaped his clutches only because each had a special skill or overwhelming combat strength.

Then a wave of sorrow washed over Athena.

Of course she knew how obsessively Zeus clung to the power of the God King. But what Father God was doing was truly foolish.

She had to admit, if she were in Lein's place, she would do the same thing he was doing.

Although the total amount of divine power in this universe grew slowly, the other God Systems were collapsing fast!

This was the God Realm's [whale fall]: when a whale died, all things flourished.

Without the collapse of other God Systems and worlds, there would be no way to consolidate their resources, unite everyone, and stand against the Chaos Lord.

Lein's approach was the easiest and smartest way to do it.

At least he had the decency to do it properly. There would be far less resistance when he brought the other God Systems together.

What Zeus was doing might help him reclaim the Olympus God System, but that was all it would do. As long as he couldn't overwhelm the Chaos God System through his personal strength alone, his end would be miserable: either Lein would kill him, or he would be forced to join Chaos.

Athena didn't want to see either outcome.

You couldn't reason with someone determined to bring about their own ruin!

Zeus had completely lost his mind.
