Voluntarily falling into Chaos?

How much must they have hated Zeus for these former gods and God Kings to make such a decision!

Or perhaps they truly were telling the truth: things had become irredeemable, so they had simply switched sides to Chaos.

The truth could no longer be uncovered.

The only thing that could be confirmed was that falling into Chaos would not end well.

Even noble figures like Cronus and Uranus dared not claim they would retain their minds after being completely consumed by Chaos.

They had seen enough to understand that when an Order entity became completely consumed by Chaos, whether it retained its reason came down to probability.

It was like how a husky might occasionally have one or two descendants as smart as Border Collies. Some even had such good coats that they were classic Sai Class huskies.

But with most huskies, you could tell how purebred they were just by looking at the level of intelligence in their eyes.

Uranus and Gaea, ancient gods who were practically parts of the world itself, had surely asked the Chaos Lord about this. The Lord probably hadn't made them any promises. If promises were binding, then that would be Order, not Chaos.

But voluntarily becoming Chaos-corrupted had one small advantage: they could exert some control over when their minds finally succumbed to Chaos. That meant Gaea and the others could retain much of their divine power while enjoying the boost from Chaos.

In this half-Order, half-Chaos state, the corruption was certainly irreversible, but the power they unleashed was far greater than before.

That was the price!

No god of Order would envy them that power.
