"I'm going with you!" Andrea declared firmly.
Edward didn't react at first. He froze for a second before coming back to himself and saying:
"Don't joke around. You're a princess! How could you come adventuring with me? The Duke wouldn't agree to it either!"
"Don't worry about that. I can convince my father! Just tell me whether you can take me with you."
Only now did the princess show her forceful side, leaving Edward at a loss. He looked at her earnest expression and didn't ask some pointless question like, "You don't mind coming along to rescue Monica?" Instead, he said:
"If you really want to go, then go get ready. We have to leave tonight!
"If I go alone, I can get there faster—about four or five hours—but I won't be able to take you with me.
"If I bring you along, I won't have time to build a plane. I have a boat that should get us to Marala City in about a day. It's five in the afternoon now. We'll leave at eight tonight! If everything goes smoothly, we'll reach Marala City around four or five tomorrow afternoon."
Princess Andrea wasn't concerned about words like "plane." She knew the man in front of her was always coming up with miracles. She asked:
"What should I prepare?"
"I don't need to tell you what to bring for the fight. You know what you should prepare.
"Put some food and clothes in your Spatial Ring.
"I need you to leave at least half the space in your ring empty. I'll bring enough equipment for you. Luckily, we have two Spatial Rings now. That should improve our chances.
"Lastly, bring some summer clothes. It's unbearably hot there right now!"
"Okay, I'll go get ready." Andrea turned and left Edward's home...
