Just as Monica was starting to worry that Edward might mess with the runes in the small room, the door silently opened again.

Edward made a "shh" gesture to Monica, closed his visor, and walked out.

He was still marveling to himself: The "elevators" made by the Magic Empire are incredible. They don't make a sound or vibrate at all. You can't even feel the acceleration as they rise.

Sure enough, they were back where he had been knocked down. He had pressed the number "zero" in the "elevator," which was the number he had seen earlier on the large door.

Monica followed Edward out. She saw rubble scattered across the ground and a gaping hole blasted through the stone door opposite them.

Jimmy and Andrea were already gone. Edward guessed that they might have gone into the Stone Cave across from them.

Edward returned the Black Knife to Monica, then walked to the entrance of the Stone Cave, intending to activate his Night Vision Magic Array and check what was inside.

Just then, he sensed a ripple similar to magic.

It definitely wasn't magic, nor was it the divine art of the Holy Light God that he had experienced before, but it felt more like a divine art.

Something seemed to have touched his foot. He looked down and saw a pebble.

The pebble, which was closest to the door, slid along and bounced off his foot, then hopped to the edge of the Stone Cave and merged into the stone door.

Edward turned around, and saw Monica, her visor still open, staring at the rubble around them in shock. The stones were beginning to slide slowly across the ground, one by one repairing the stone door.
