Background / History

Pei An was an orphaned transmigrator who spent nineteen years in the Douluo world before Qian Xunji's death. Discovered for his exceptional talent by Golden Crocodile Douluo, he was brought into Martial Soul Hall and accepted as the elder's disciple. With no system to rely upon, he used his knowledge to secure opportunities including immortal herbs, hundred-thousand-year soul rings, and the City of Slaughter's inheritance. Qian Xunji kept his existence concealed from major powers, allowing Pei An to develop in obscurity. 1

After Tang Hao killed Qian Xunji, Qian Daoliu selected Pei An as Pope. Pei An accepted while requesting that he be allowed to transfer the position to Qian Renxue once she came of age. Privately, he intended this promise to reassure Qian Daoliu while he established his own foundation within Martial Soul Hall. 1
