Background / History

Clear Sky Sect and Wutasuo City

Tang Yuehua is the daughter of the previous Clear Sky Sect Master and the younger sister of Tang Xiao and Tang Hao. Despite her direct lineage, her lack of cultivation made her a low-value figure in a sect that prized strength above all else. 12

Six years before her arrival at Spirit Hall, she met Pei An in Wutasuo City under the name “Miss Yue.” At Xuan Ya Pavilion, she had purchased the Green Spirit Crystal solely because of its beauty. When Pei An sought to buy it for its life energy, she gave it to him without accepting payment. 15

Hostage of Spirit Hall

When Spirit Hall surrounded the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Yuehua recognized that the sect could not withstand Pei An’s army and multiple Title Douluo. Frustrated by her inability to fight alongside her family, she nevertheless followed the confrontation at the mountain gate. 11

Pei An demanded a direct descendant as a hostage. Tang Xiao resisted sending her, but the sect elders regarded her Rank 9 Soul Power as insufficient reason to risk war. Tang Yuehua volunteered herself to preserve the sect, telling Tang Xiao that she also wanted to contribute. 12

Spirit Hall housed her in a quiet, elegant courtyard rather than mistreating her. After a Soul Ancestor attempted to harass her, Pei An intervened and punished the offender; this incident raised her standing within Spirit Hall and discouraged further threats against her. 14 15 19

Life in Spirit Hall

Tang Yuehua revealed her past connection with Pei An only after he recognized the familiarity in her gaze. She neither sought leniency for the Clear Sky Sect nor used the Green Spirit Crystal as political leverage, separating her private gratitude from the conflict between their factions. In return, Pei An promised to accommodate reasonable requests as repayment for her past kindness. 15

She began regularly bringing Pei An meals, particularly desserts such as Almond Cake, and gradually became a familiar presence in the Pope’s Palace. Her cooking drew rumors throughout Spirit Hall and provoked repeated friction with Bibi Dong. 20 34

Return to the Clear Sky Sect

When Tang Hao returned to the Clear Sky Sect and sought an alliance with the Star Luo Empire against Spirit Hall, Tang Yuehua opposed his return. She accompanied Pei An to the sect and, when confronted by Tang Hao, refused to recognize his authority over her personal life. 94 97

During the sect’s final conflict with Spirit Hall, she stood behind Pei An and urged Tang Xiao not to permit further meaningless sacrifices. Though she felt remorse at the deaths of the Second Elder and other former sect members, she remained aligned with Pei An. 97 99

After Tang Hao was killed and Tang Xiao’s cultivation was crippled, Tang Yuehua was left melancholy at the ruins of the Clear Sky Sect—the place where she had spent more than twenty years of her life. She ultimately chose to continue following Pei An. 101 103
