Background / History

Lei Jun awakened as a strand of Innate Purple Lightning in the newly formed Primordial Wilderness. Realizing that he had transmigrated from a human life, he discovered that he possessed a sliver of authority to act on Heaven’s behalf and execute Heavenly Punishment. After taking the form of a purple-robed youth, he descended to the Honghuang earth and chose to purge the Fierce Beast Race for merit, luck, and survival. 1

He rapidly strengthened himself by exterminating fierce beasts, gathering Sources of Blessing, and refining rare Innate Qi. Profound Yellow Qi led him to abandon mere physical accumulation in favor of his own path: becoming one with a world. This realization elevated him to Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal and established Body Transforms into World as a core foundation of his cultivation. 2

At Mount Buzhou, Lei Jun defeated the Fierce Beast King Qiongqi, gathered treasures from its remains, and indirectly left Nüwa an opportunity through his former human identity. He ultimately severed his Past Body rather than destroy Nüwa’s chance, cutting away the karmic ties of his previous life while greatly increasing his strength. 3 4

His conflict with Beast Emperor Shen Ni began when he discovered the unfinished Godslaying Spear being corrupted by Sha Qi. Lei Jun openly challenged Shen Ni by purifying the treasure’s corruption, then refined the Western Wilderness for millions of years. During this process, he comprehended the Lightning Dao and transformed Sha Qi into World-Destroying Thunder. 6 7

After surviving Shen Ni’s pursuit with the protection of the Dao Heart Azure Lotus, Lei Jun explored the Zhou Tian Star Sea, severed his Future Body, and cultivated on Ziwei Star. There he attained the Primal Chaos Saint realm, founded Lei Jun Palace, and declared that the Fierce Beast Tribulation must end. 8 10

Lei Jun repeatedly confronted Shen Ni, eventually subduing and refining one of the Beast Emperor’s true bodies. Shen Ni’s final scheme, however, involved sacrificing himself and merging the Dao of Destruction into the Heavenly Dao, forcing Lei Jun to recognize a deeper conflict with the Primordial Wilderness itself. 11 16

Seeking a position independent of the Heavenly Dao, Lei Jun discovered the Human Dao Purple Qi and chose to incarnate as the Human Dao. He later rebuilt his Dao Body through the Dao of No Self, opened the Thirty-Three Heavens, and used the Tongtian Jianmu to restrain the Heavenly Dao’s access to Primordial Wilderness Power. 27 31
