Just as Heracles leaped onto the Hanging Gardens and was about to begin a drawn-out battle with his opponent, Karna made a request of him.

"Correct. And there is something in exchange. I believe you would be willing to accept it."

Heracles considered it for a moment, then nodded. "If the request is not too demanding, I agree. As for my condition—let the Black Faction's remaining Servants and Masters pass through here."

Karna smiled readily. "As expected of Archer, I accept your condition. My request is also simple: rescue the Red Faction's original Masters. They are confined in a room within the gardens, unconscious from Assassin's poison, and Amakusa Shirou has taken their Command Spells."

"Then aren't they no longer your Masters?" Gord, who had originally planned to hang back, could not help asking.

"Correct. But even so, they were the ones who summoned us. I still must help them."

Heracles nodded approvingly. Lancer truly lived up to the name of a hero.

Caules also looked at Lancer with some admiration. "I did not expect that, even after your Master lost their Command Spells, you would still fulfill your share of the bond."

"Then, Lancer, do you have any intention of joining us? I believe opposing Amakusa Shirou should be our common goal," Caules asked.

"I cannot do that. My goal is not to oppose Amakusa Shirou, either. Besides, even without changing Masters, the Red Faction and the Black
