Background

The Other Realm was originally part of the Primitive Ancient World, the realm later shattered into the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands. Dark Quasi-@@REF_ENTITY_11277534@@ Emperors altered its inhabitants' memories and empowered them through an Origin Ancient Artifact, transforming it into a civilization built for war and harvesting. 77 108

During the Immortal Ancient Era, it waged war against the Primitive Ancient World. Its Immortal Kings coordinated sieges against the defenders' strongest figures, killing the Seven Kings of the Barren Lands, leading members of the Ten Fiends, the Immortal Monk King, the Second Under Heaven, and others. The Six Paths Reincarnation Immortal King and Wuzhong Immortal King eventually died from exhaustion after fighting An Lan and other Other Realm kings without reinforcements. 77

The resulting defeat shattered the Primitive Ancient World. The surviving domains became the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands, while the Immortal Domain helped forge the Heavenly Abyss between the two sides; this barrier both contained the Other Realm and prevented the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands from producing new Immortal Dao cultivators. 77 83

After sensing Chu Yuan's impending breakthrough in the Immortal Domain, Kundi assembled all Other Realm Immortal Kings. He tasked An Lan and Yu Tuo with invading the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands to find the key to the Origin Ancient Artifact. 88

Battle at the Immortal Domain

Kundi led the Other Realm Immortal Kings to pressure the Immortal Domain for information about the breakthrough. When negotiations failed, the realm employed the Origin Ancient Artifact and its manifested shadows against Chu Yuan. 107 108

Assault on Imperial Pass

The Other Realm deployed a massive army at the Heavenly Abyss and assaulted Imperial Pass. An Lan and Yu Tuo arrived personally, declared their intent to destroy the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands, and An Lan broke the Heavenly Abyss with two palm strikes. 109 114 116

Defeat and Collapse

Chu Yuan's Past Incarnation destroyed An Lan and Yu Tuo's Immortal King Dharma Bodies, repelled the Blade King's attacks, and crushed Wu Shang. He later killed or defeated the realm's remaining Immortal King leadership, seized the Origin Ancient Artifact from Kundi, and reduced the survivors to a choice between submission and death. 121 126 129 130
