Usopp and the Tontatta carried out the SOP Operation to defeat Sugar and free Dressrosa’s toys, while Luffy and his allies fought their way toward Doflamingo. The toys returned to human form, but Doflamingo activated the Birdcage and trapped everyone in Dressrosa.

• Franky fought Senor Pink as Usopp, Nico Robin, Perona, Kyros, and the Tontatta reached the Underground Trade Port and prepared to target Sugar.
• Violet joined Luffy, Xi Yan, and Zoro, revealed her past as a Riku princess, and guided them toward the Royal Palace while Sabo entered the Colosseum as Lucy to compete for the Diamond Fruit.
• Luffy and Xi Yan continued toward Doflamingo as Zoro stayed behind to fight Pica, while Franky and Merry battled the Marines, Dellinger, and Mahavise near the Toy House.
• Usopp led Leo and the Tontatta into the Executive Tower, but Sugar turned them into toys, Trebol defeated their allies, and Usopp fled before returning to stand by them.
• Usopp revealed his identity, attacked Trebol, and was beaten, but Sugar fainted after putting the Tabasco Star in Usopp’s mouth, ending her power and restoring the toys across Dressrosa.
• Kyros charged into the Royal Palace and freed King Riku, while Luffy reached Law and discovered that Doflamingo’s apparent beheading had struck a clone.
• Doflamingo announced the Birdcage, attacked Luffy and Kyros, and sent threads into the sky to trap everyone in Dressrosa.

Doflamingo trapped Dressrosa in the Birdcage and turned the island into a deadly contest, while Luffy and his allies pushed toward the Royal Palace. Fujitora and Smoker secretly allowed the pirates to challenge Doflamingo as Xi Yan confronted the Marines, and the arc ended with Smoker preparing an attack while Merry carried Law’s key onward.

• Usopp survived the fight with Sugar, and the freed people hailed him as their savior before he urged them to destroy the Factory and rescue the Tontatta.
• Doflamingo activated the Birdcage, reshaped Dressrosa with Pica’s power, and named targets for his contest, including Usopp with a five hundred million Beli bounty.
• Luffy, Zoro, and Law set out for Doflamingo, while Fujitora ordered the Marines to protect civilians and later agreed with Smoker to let the Straw Hat Pirates decide the outcome.
• Xi Yan told Galette that Fujitora might be using the battle to expose the harm caused by the Shichibukai, while Galette revealed her feelings for Xi Yan and offered to help.
• Luffy and the Colosseum fighters fought through Doflamingo’s forces as Zoro stayed behind to battle Pica, and Violet found the Sea Stone key that could free Law.
• Rebecca and the Tontatta set out to deliver the key, while Xi Yan and Sabo blocked Fujitora, Smoker, and the Marines from advancing.
• Fujitora summoned a meteor that struck the Birdcage, and Xi Yan suspected the Admiral had controlled its fall to limit the damage.
• Fujitora attacked Sabo as Smoker fought Xi Yan, then sent the Marines away and covered Xi Yan in smoke as Merry delivered the key and flew toward Robin.

Luffy and his allies fought through Doflamingo’s forces to reach the Royal Palace, while Usopp stopped Sugar from turning them into toys. Law and Luffy confronted Doflamingo, and their surprise attack left him injured as Law struck Trebol.

• Smoker used heated and freezing smoke against Xi Yan, who learned to counter his ability with Haki and recognized its destructive potential.
• Doflamingo’s thread clone attacked Luffy, Law, and Ushi, but Abdullah and Jette rescued them, and Luffy punched through the rock to reach the Second Floor.
• Luffy, Law, Kyros, and Cavendish advanced toward the Flower Field as their allies held off the Donquixote Family, while Kin’emon reunited with Kanjuro and learned how Momonosuke had died.
• Zoro stayed behind to fight Pica, while Franky and the Tontatta opened the Factory’s Great Gate and Franky began battling Senor Pink.
• Violet found the imprisoned Mansherry, and Robin’s group fought Gladius as Luffy’s party struggled through the giant toys and reached the route to the Fourth Floor.
• Kyros held Diamante back while Merry freed Law from his handcuffs and Usopp used Violet’s guidance and Observation Haki to knock Sugar unconscious.
• Luffy and Law confronted Doflamingo, who used strings to force Bellamy to attack Luffy, and Law switched places with Doflamingo so Luffy could land a Haki- and flame-wreathed punch.
• Law cut Trebol into pieces with High-Frequency Scalpel as Doflamingo fell injured and Bellamy watched in shock.

As Luffy battled Doflamingo, the Straw Hats and their allies defeated the Donquixote officers and protected Dressrosa’s people. Zoro finally defeated Pica, while Sabo and Fujitora kept their plans concerning the Marines’ Shichibukai system in motion.

• Sabo learned that Fujitora intended to abolish the Shichibukai system, and he and Klar chose to wait while Luffy fought Doflamingo and Smoker fought Xi Yan.
• Doflamingo overwhelmed Luffy and Law, severed Law’s arm, and used Bellamy as a shield until Luffy knocked Bellamy unconscious after their final clash.
• Zoro pursued Pica while Hajrudin defeated Mahavise, Lao Cai rescued Baby-5 and defeated Lao G, and the fighters on Dressrosa’s other fronts faced the remaining officers.
• Robin, Bartolomeo, Cavendish, and Edio confronted Gladius and Dellinger, while Leo rescued Mansherry before Jora could use her healing tears on the defeated officers.
• Franky defeated Senor Pink, and Kyros defeated Diamante with Robin and Merry protecting Rebecca and the others.
• Pica threatened King Riku and the fighters at Old King’s Plateau, while Xi Yan revealed to Usopp that he had faked his death and agreed to train him.
• Merry launched Zoro toward Pica, Zoro split the Rock Giant, and Xi Yan trapped Pica above the ground with trees as Zoro defeated him with Three Sword Style Secret Technique: Three Thousand Worlds.
