Background

Nan Liujing was raised believing Sun Kong to be his only relative. He later learns that Xia Zheng Leng is his great-grandmother and Qian Gu Qing Feng his great-grandfather, placing him within the bloodline linking the Qian Gu and Leng families. His existence becomes politically important as a stabilizing figure between the two families. 28 41 44

While in Proud Arrival City, he intervenes when traffickers target Na'er. He immobilizes the kidnappers with dark-blue soul power and takes responsibility for the frightened girl, eventually regarding her as family rather than a burden created by his interference. 11 13 30

He becomes Zhen Hua's forging disciple and rapidly advances through the blacksmith ranks with his affinity for metal and assistance from the Plane Imprint. Leng Yaozhu later accepts him as her disciple, guiding his cultivation and positioning him within the Spirit Pagoda. 28 29 34
