When Harry came to his senses after the dizziness of passing through the portal, a notification sounded in his ear.

He looked around and realized he was in a military tent with a classical air. A knight in medieval armor stood in the center, surrounded by the classmates who had entered with him.

After looking around carefully, Harry spotted some familiar faces: Neville, Ginny, Cedric, and Percy. Ron and Hermione, however, were nowhere to be seen.

"All hired wizards, listen up!" The knight in the center of the tent lifted his visor and shouted. "Change into your equipment as quickly as possible. Boys, use the changing room on the left; girls, the one on the right. Then assemble in front of me."

Everyone immediately got moving. This wasn't their first instance, and the knight in the middle was clearly an NPC—he might not even be a real person.

Before long, everyone had changed. Their so-called equipment consisted of a full set of tactical clothing, with a coarse cloak embroidered with William the Conqueror's coat of arms worn over it. Other than their wands, they couldn't bring anything else.

Once everyone had assembled, the scene took on a distinctly medieval atmosphere.

Seeing this, the knight at the head of the tent began speaking in an even tone. "As promised to King Harold of Norway, he was to offer the throne to our lord, Duke William, after taking England. But Harold broke his word..."
