Klaus ignored the remark, turned, pulled a stack of long-pressed blueprints from the cabinet behind him, and spread them across the table.
After the first Great Ghoul invasion, he had begun preparing these things—reforging and improving them one by one, then leaving them untouched in the warehouse.

Set the direction of the Bronze Pillar, then bombard everywhere else as you please."
"You actually had something like this hidden away?" The Great Ascendant leaned forward as if he had spotted something rare.
Klaus offered no explanation and flipped to the next sheet. "Mithril. There's a huge amount of Mithril among the supplies exchanged this time. We'll have the Holy Armor Army use Mithril to clear the way. Flame clearly restrains Forest Seeds, and Mithril's Alchemy Flame needs no further explanation."
"Good. Mithril works very well against this kind of thing."

"The Iron Guard Battalion's Furnace Fire Sprayers." Klaus raised his head, his gaze settling on the Great Ascendant. "Infuse them with the power of furnace fire for sustained spraying. They're even more effective against Forest Seeds than Mithril. The Iron Guard Battalion doesn't have many men, but they're enough to open a path."
He pulled a Copper Casket from beneath the table and opened it. Inside, more than a dozen fist-sized copper spheres were neatly arranged, their shells wrapped in discarded Alchemical Gunpowder.
