Margaret moved almost at the same time as the Blue Knight. A layer of mist had already begun to swirl around her as the two of them charged straight at the Colossus.
Adrian raised the Scripture before his chest.
The Scripture flew from his hand and hovered in midair within the enormous cavity. Golden light burst forth from between its pages, illuminating most of the hollow.
The light was indeed bright enough, but the cavity was simply too vast. No matter how powerful the Holy Light was, it could not reach every corner. Deeper within remained an impenetrable darkness where nothing could be seen.
As the Scripture hovered in place, Adrian's face turned even paler. From the journey down here to breaking through the flesh wall, he had overused the Holy Light for far too long. The old Bishop was clearly struggling to hold on.

This place was already infinitely close to the deepest point.
Lu Yuan's gaze swept across those Bronze Pillars, and his heart suddenly skipped a beat.
Fragments.
