The river of light grew wider and brighter as it flew. From the Outer City to the Inner City, it spanned the skies over more than half of Bronze City, like a rainbow bridge built over this expanse of flesh.
At the same time, vast numbers of colored specks of light emerged from the Sea of Knowledge Rift.
As though answering some summons, they poured out in groups from the sea within the rift, gleaming with colored light and wrapped in densely packed words.
