After saying that, Klaus stared at Lu Yuan, a flicker of confusion passing through his eyes.
"You're Third Order?"
Lu Yuan froze for a moment, then nodded.
"When did that happen?"
"Right after I dealt with those Taboos in the inner city." Lu Yuan added, "You could call it a fortunate coincidence."
As though he had just heard the most absurd joke in the world, Klaus's cheek twitched slightly. In the end, he helplessly looked away.
What was this supposed to be?
For Knowledge Transcendents, the most important threshold was advancing from Second Order to Third Order.
It was a qualitative transformation, and also the fate at which the vast majority of Knowledge Transcendents would come to a halt.
Most of them would stop somewhere on the road between Second Order and Third Order, and that included no shortage of geniuses.
But Knowledge Transcendents were Knowledge Transcendents—utterly unreasonable.
Originally, Klaus had thought that since Lu Yuan's path was so special, reaching Third Order would surely be an extremely difficult matter.
After all, a Knowledge Transcendent's strength was almost directly proportional to the path they chose. The second factor that affected strength was how thoroughly one developed and understood one's own path.
That differed from person to person, which was why the gaps in strength could be so enormous.
But on second thought, since Lu Yuan had already reached Third Order, that meant he now had the ability to protect himself.
On top of that, he possessed Time Bestower, an extraordinarily powerful Transcendent weapon. In a sense, Lu Yuan's ability to flee should now surpass that of most Transcendents of the same order.
Even some Fourth Order Alienated Transcendents and Eerie Transcendents might not be able to run faster than him.
And then there was Lu Yuan's nearly monstrous sanity value.
