Early the next morning, a knock sounded outside Lu Yuan's door.
Already awake, Lu Yuan threw on some clothes, went downstairs, and opened the door.
An attendant stood outside, a faint extraordinary aura emanating from him, with a thin layer of snow on his shoulders.
"Mr. Lu Yuan, your match is scheduled for this morning." The attendant bowed. "The training grounds are at the foot of the mountain. Follow the stone path through the residential area north, and you'll reach them. Please don't be late."
"All right, got it."
After the attendant left, Lu Yuan went back inside to get ready.
After a quick wash, he tucked Revolver back at his waist. His coat shifted into the style Lu Yuan wanted at his command, and only then did he step outside.
Snow was still falling, though not heavily, drifting down in scattered flakes.
Lu Yuan followed the stone path north from the residential area, descended a gentle slope, and passed by the edges of the fields and stables.
The sheds in the fields were still green inside, while numerous horses snorted from the stables.
Further ahead, the voices grew louder. The training grounds were clearly nearby.
The northern slope had been carved into tiered spectator stands.
They wrapped around the east, west, and north sides in turn, with the northern side the tallest.
Quite a few people were already seated in the stands. Most were unfamiliar faces, presumably senior students from previous classes.
What made Lu Yuan take a second look was that there were also some people dressed like servants among the crowd.
They held hot drinks and chatted merrily.
Clearly, being allowed to watch the matches was one of the benefits granted to the helpers working at Knight Academy. After all, it was indeed difficult to witness higher-level
