But Oden brought up one more thing.
"That's good. Since you're prepared, that's all that matters. Let me tell you one more thing." Oden's voice relaxed slightly.
"If you really plan to team up with that young man called Leon later, keep an eye on him. His Pathway seems to be showing some irregularities."
"Leon?" Lu Yuan immediately asked, "Is his Pathway about to undergo Alienation?"
"Yes, sharp of you." Oden nodded. "But I think he should have noticed it himself too. Tonight, I saw what looked like traces of restraint on him, though they weren't very obvious."
"Then he probably took that Pathway Stabilization and Convergence course." Lu Yuan explained. "Knight Academy has a specialized course for it. It probably teaches people how to rein in their own Pathways."
Lu Yuan had originally intended to check out that course as well, but he was a Knowledge Transcendent after all—stable beyond belief. In theory, he had no need for it whatsoever.
"Then it's fine as long as he knows. Still, you should keep watch. Don't let him go berserk and stab you." Oden muttered another warning.
"Ah, but what a shame. Even now, I still haven't figured out which Immortality that Horn aura on that little girl Blanca belongs to. Ah, if only I could figure it out."
Hearing that, Lu Yuan smacked his lips. He had not expected Oden to be so flighty.
But then again, Immortality already involved an entirely different level. It was more normal for Oden not to know, wasn't it?
After all, Oden was probably only Fourth or Fifth Order now. He could not have been any stronger while alive, or he would not have ended up hanging in a statue outside. He should have been hidden behind that door beneath the Hall of Knowledge
