The Blue Knight flicked her wrist and entangled the heretic leader trying to break away. Seizing the instant his attention wandered, she thrust a knife-hand strike straight at him.
The heretic leader had remained somewhat wary of the Blue Knight, but she was simply too fast. He had no time to dodge and could only wrench his body to the left in a brief evasive movement, turning what should have been a lethal strike into one that merely shattered his arm.
The next moment, flesh surged from the ground, forcing the Blue Knight back.
That retreat gave the Blue Knight a moment to turn and glance behind her.
That single glance left her stunned.
