"I've already sent a signal to the Knight Academy. There are also nuns from the Church guarding Brunkel and me," the Blue Knight said, tugging at the corner of her mouth. "Don't worry. We'll be fine."
Despite her words, Lu Yuan heard another meaning beneath them. For them to have been driven into this world and forced to send a distress signal to the Academy, the Blue Knight and the others must have already been cornered outside. If she had any room left to maneuver, she would never have asked for help.
Lu Yuan frowned.
Seeing his frown, the Blue Knight suddenly smiled.
"All right, you don't need to worry about me." She quickened her pace, a trace of her old easygoing manner slipping into her voice. "We're both Fourth Order. Do we really need a Third Order like you worrying about us?"
But the more she said that, the more uneasy Lu Yuan felt. His knitted brows never relaxed.
The Blue Knight waited a while. When Lu Yuan still refused to let the matter drop, she helplessly changed the subject.
"Fine, let's leave that for now." The Blue Knight glanced at him out of the corner of her eye. "You still haven't told me how you got into this world. Weren't you supposed to be staying at the Knight Academy? How did you end up here?"
Lu Yuan did not answer immediately. First, he turned his head and looked at Brunkel on the other side.
The Blue Knight followed his gaze, immediately understood what he meant, and smiled.
"Don't worry. She's with the Empire." She paused, then added, "When it comes to wanting Heretics dead, she's even more eager than you."
