The Zombified Matriarch threw back her head and let out a wordless roar. The earth rumbled, and the Drow Elf Zombies around her seemed to receive a command. They sprinted toward the center of the battlefield.
Now the Imperial Army and the rest of the White Phoenix Team could no longer hold back the nearby Zombies to give Bai Xiaowen a separate battlefield.
The Zombies drawn by the Zombified Matriarch's roar charged as if possessed. They ignored attacks from nearby enemies and kept coming even when it meant taking a few slashes. Many of the weaker Zombies were cut down before they even reached the center.
Bai Xiaowen frowned slightly. Their arrival forced him to change tactics.
Fatty fell back and released Rotting Poison Mist to meet the Zombies rushing at Bai Xiaowen. Fatty's rotting skill had always been one of Bai Xiaowen's most-used area attacks.
Kitz and Delifa had their chance to shine. One guarded Bai Xiaowen from behind, the other from the side, keeping the horde from surrounding him.
But Bai Xiaowen could not leave the Zombified Matriarch alone. He jumped down from Rageclaw's broad back and patted his great head.
Rageclaw charged with a howl and swatted aside the Zombified Matriarch's attempt to cast a spell. Her claws were little more than a tickle against his armored body.
The only real nuisance was Rotting Blood, which was slowly eating away at Rageclaw's health.
But Rageclaw was bound to Bai Xiaowen through Life Sharing. His Life Value was no lower than that of a true Advanced Boss in the Spirit Realm. With his ferocious close-range attacks, he was sure to finish off the Zombified Matriarch before his own health dropped to a dangerous level.
Elsewhere, the Death Knight had already brought one Zombified Priestess close to death.
