"No need to apologize, I'm the one who should apologize," Toudou Shizuka's voice held a subtle gentleness as he gently pushed the tissues toward her. "Those things were just a friend's token of goodwill, not a burden. If you ever need anything else in the future, or run into trouble again... just tell me directly, okay? Don't try to carry it all yourself." He emphasized "friend" again, offering a clear promise and a signal of support.
Sakura Airi nodded vigorously, tears still streaming down her face, but the trembling of her shoulders gradually subsided. She took the tissues and wiped her face haphazardly. Her large glasses were removed and placed on the table, revealing a pair of eyes, red-rimmed and swollen from crying, yet exceptionally clear.
This was the first time Toudou Shizuka had seen her so clearly. Though still timid, the delicate features hidden by thick lenses and bangs now possessed a fragile, genuine beauty in her tears.

[Unlocked Target (Sakura Airi) Skill: Photography (Composition and Light Capture) A-rank Simulation Permission!]
[Simulation Points +50 (Successfully established a high trust relationship, unlocked A-rank skill permission). Current: 65 points!]
Objective achieved! A-rank photography skills were within reach! But Toudou Shizuka's mind wasn't on the skills at the moment. He looked at the girl before him, who had finally shed some of her heavy pretense and was crying like a child. The hardness in his heart, born from calculation, seemed to soften slightly, as if moistened by her tears.
"Drink some tea quickly, it'll get cold if you keep crying," Toudou Shizuka pushed the Honey Yuzu Tea closer to her, his tone carrying a gentleness he hadn't even noticed himself.
Sakura Airi sobbed and obediently cupped the warm mug, taking small sips. The sweet yuzu tea mixed with the salty tears flowed into her stomach, bringing a strange sense of calm. She secretly glanced up at Toudou Shizuka. He was quietly looking out the window, his profile calm and reliable in the warm yellow light. A wave of immense reassurance washed over her.
"Toudou-kun..." she mustered her courage, her voice still thick with tears, but much clearer. "Thank you... really... thank you for telling me... and thank you for... always helping me..." She paused. With her large glasses off the table, she seemed to have gained a bit more courage. "In the future... can I... can I share more of my photos with you? I... I'm not very good..."
"Of course, Sakura. You know, you've always been willing to share your photos with me, and that in itself is a very warm and precious thing. You're doing wonderfully. Perhaps you haven't realized it, but you tend to overthink things sometimes. But honestly, if you could just be a little more confident, stand tall and spread your wings, the liveliness and gentleness hidden in your eyes would surely shine as brightly as flowers illuminated by the sun."
Toudou Shizuka turned his head and gave her a gentle smile. "That little sparrow behind the glass, and the green after the rain, they both had a lot of feeling." He offered sincere affirmation again.
A shy but genuine smile finally appeared on Sakura Airi's face, and she nodded vigorously. She put her large glasses back on, but Toudou Shizuka could feel that the icy barrier separating her from the outside world had melted a little. The atmosphere between them was no longer so tense, replaced by a peaceful warmth between friends. They talked about photography (mostly Sakura talking, Toudou Shizuka listening intently), and about good spots for photos around campus, the conversation light and natural.
Just as the atmosphere was improving, the wind chimes at the coffee shop entrance rang out crisply.
"Welcome!" the waitress's sweet voice announced.
Toudou Shizuka instinctively looked up. A figure with brown hair and a smile as sweet as melting honey walked in – Kushida Kikyo. She was accompanied by two other girls from Class D, and the three seemed to be discussing something, Kushida's face wearing that signature, heartwarming smile.

[Affection: 14 (Neutral) → 15 (Neutral)] - Slight investigative interest generated by discovering Toudou Shizuka and Sakura's private interaction.
Kushida Kikyo's gaze swept across the entire coffee shop like a precision radar. When her eyes landed on Toudou Shizuka and Sakura Airi in the corner, her perfect smile paused for a barely perceptible two-and-a-half seconds, then became even more radiant and natural. She seemed to "accidentally" discover them and waved enthusiastically. "Oh! Isn't that Toudou-kun and Sakura-chan? What a coincidence!"
The two Class D girls beside her also looked over, their faces filled with curiosity. Sakura Airi flinched like a startled rabbit, instantly shrinking back. A flicker of panic flashed behind her large glasses, and she instinctively leaned closer to Toudou Shizuka.
An alarm bell rang in Toudou Shizuka's mind. Kushida Kikyo! Appearing at this timing, a coincidence! Or was she watching Sakura? Ayanokoji's gaze hadn't lifted, and now Kushida's tendrils were reaching out! He quickly put on the gentle smile of "Toudou Shizuka" and responded naturally, "Kushida-san, good afternoon. It is quite a coincidence." He cleverly used the word "coincidence" to acknowledge their meeting.
Kushida Kikyo had already pulled her companions over, her smile impeccable. "We were discussing next week's class activity, and decided to stop by since we were passing. Sakura-chan, why are your eyes red? Are you alright?" She looked at Sakura with concern. Her A-rank affinity made her care seem incredibly genuine.
"N-nothing..." Sakura Airi's voice was small, her head bowed lower. The immense unease enveloped her once more. The relaxed atmosphere they had just built vanished instantly.
"Perhaps we were discussing some particularly touching photography works," Toudou Shizuka smoothly interjected, smiling as he explained and steered the conversation away. "Kushida-san, what activity does your class have next week? If you need any help, perhaps I can offer some small support?" He sent out a signal of goodwill and tried to take the initiative in the conversation.
Kushida Kikyo's smile remained unchanged, but a subtle hint of scrutiny flashed in her eyes. Her gaze flickered for a moment between Toudou Shizuka's calm face and Sakura's lowered head. "Ah, it's just some team-building games, still in the planning stages. Toudou-kun is so kind! We'll definitely ask for your help if we need it!" She skillfully avoided specific details while accepting Toudou Shizuka's goodwill.
