Background

Ye Qingxuan possessed extraordinary memory and comprehension from an early stage, mastering basic cultivation knowledge after studying it once. He used Cloud Mist Mountain’s library to study spiritual herbs, demonic beasts, pills, artifacts, formations, talismans, and other cultivation professions. 5

After receiving support from Patriarch Ye Yuhong—including spirit herb seeds, an alchemy inheritance, and 30,000 low-grade spirit stones—Ye Qingxuan traveled with Ye Qingxiao to join the Xuantian Sect. The scale of the Dihuan Realm deeply impressed him and strengthened his determination to leave his mark across it. 10

At the sect, ancestor Ye Zhaoyang placed greater value on Ye Qingxiao’s Five Element High-Grade Spirit Root than Ye Qingxuan’s Blessed Cultivator status. Ye Qingxuan nevertheless remained calm, respectful, and willing to accept the support available to him. 12
