Kanzaki spoke with a hint of reproach, "Itozawa, you shouldn't have made a bet with Class C so casually." Kanzaki's voice was low, his gaze fixed on Itozawa, "We can't be sure we've won yet, we shouldn't have taken such a risk."

Ichinose, standing nearby, tried to smooth things over.

"Alright, alright, don't argue here." Ichinose's voice was calm as he stood between them to prevent conflict, "What we need to do now is hurry to the office, find Class C's homeroom teacher, and win this match."

Led by Itozawa, the Class B students hurried across the campus, their target set on the homeroom teacher's office.

When they reached the office door, Itozawa was surprised to see Kamuro from Class A walking out, looking utterly dejected.

Her brows were tightly furrowed, and her eyes were filled with dissatisfaction and anger, clearly having just gone through something unpleasant.

Itozawa stepped forward and politely greeted Kamuro, "Classmate Kamuro, how did your reconnaissance go?"

Kamuro looked up, her sharp gaze fixing on Itozawa. Her eyes flickered as she recognized him.

Immediately, her expression turned even more resentful, and she glared at Itozawa.

All her unhappiness stemmed from him. It was all his fault that she had ended up in such a miserable state.

"It's all your fault!" Kamuro gritted her teeth, her eyes flashing with anger, but she deliberately lowered her voice, as if not wanting anyone around to notice her fury.

Her shoulders trembled slightly, as if she were struggling to suppress her emotional turmoil.

She leaned forward slightly, as if wanting to grab Itozawa, but after a moment's hesitation, she gave up. She merely stood there, muttering hatefully, "If you hadn't incited me to confront Sakayanagi, I wouldn't have been caught, wouldn't have been forced to do her bidding, and wouldn't be suffering humiliation here!"

Itozawa's brows furrowed slightly. He hadn't expected his words to lead to Kamuro being controlled by Sakayanagi.

He pondered inwardly whether Sakayanagi might control Kamuro due to plot inertia, something he had worried about before. However, he had never imagined that the trigger for this control would be something he himself had handed over. This realization struck him as ironic. He thought he could gain an advantage with his foreknowledge of the plot, but now the plot was a mess, and his own actions had become the catalyst for plot inertia.

"Classmate Kamuro, I..." Itozawa tried to apologize, but Kamuro interrupted him before he could finish.

She didn't give Itozawa a chance to speak further. She just shot him a fierce glare, then abruptly turned her head and strode away, leaving Itozawa and the Class B students looking at each other in bewilderment.

Watching Kamuro's angry retreating figure, Itozawa couldn't help but let out a wry smile.

He turned around and found the Class B students looking at him with complex expressions. They had witnessed the entire exchange: Itozawa greeting the purple-haired girl, her angrily accusing him in a low voice, and then her turning and leaving.

In their eyes, the scene looked like a live-action portrayal of Itozawa being a scumbag who abandoned his partner, and they all looked at him as if he were a player.

Itozawa smiled helplessly. He knew his intentions were being misunderstood, but at this moment, he was more concerned about the mission.

He raised his hands in a gesture of surrender and said, "Okay, okay, I admit it looks pretty bad this time. But I really was just gathering information."

Kanzaki prodded him, raising an eyebrow and asking teasingly, "Oh? And what information did you gather? Did you just get a scolding?"

Itozawa's smile vanished, and his expression turned serious. "Kamuro told me that Class C's homeroom teacher, Sakagami Ryoma, is inside." He paused, letting the information sink in among his classmates, "And his attitude towards students is extremely unfriendly. We need to be prepared to confront him."

Judging from Kamuro's words just now, her reconnaissance hadn't gone smoothly, and she had even been humiliated. The homeroom teacher who would humiliate students in the original work, he thought, could only be Class C's homeroom teacher, Sakagami Ryoma.
