Kanzaki stared at the office shrouded in the Sealed Field, took a deep breath, and then slowly spoke, "There are three ways to break the field, but I'm really doubtful if we can do it."
Everyone's gaze immediately focused on him, their eyes filled with anticipation and urgency.
Ando, standing to the side, couldn't help but urge, "Kanzaki, hurry up and tell us. We won't know if it's possible until we try. We can't just watch Shibata be trapped inside."
Kanzaki looked at the determined gazes gathered on him, sighed, and finally spoke, "The first method is to break this Sealed Field with absolute power."
"But," he continued, "the gap between our current abilities and the power of this Sealed Field is too great. We have no way to break this domain."
Kanzaki's words stirred a ripple through the crowd. They began to whisper amongst themselves, discussing the feasibility of this method.
Some frowned, others shook their heads, clearly not optimistic about this plan.
"Can we really do it?" someone questioned.
"Yeah, we're all students. This is a field set up by a teacher. Can we break it?"
Kanzaki knew that if he simply said yes, they would probably believe him and try with all their might.
But how could he give them hope when he knew it was impossible, only to let them fall into despair later?
So, he just stood there quietly, waiting for them to give up on the idea.
Unexpectedly, Sumida Makoto spoke up, "Alright, we should at least try. Otherwise, I really won't be able to accept it."
The others around him also roared in agreement.
"Yes, let's do it together."
"There's strength in numbers. Maybe we can really break it?"
"We have to try before we admit defeat. How can we give up right away?"
Kanzaki looked at the impassioned majority and sighed helplessly, wishing Ichinose would speak up to stop them.
Unfortunately, Ichinose was also on the side of agreement.
He sighed helplessly, "Then we also lack someone who can concentrate our power."
Unexpectedly, Beifu Ryota spoke up timidly from the side, "I... my ability seems to be able to guide... guide everyone's energy."
Kanzaki looked at him helplessly. Why was he willing to speak up now, when he had refused to before? Now that Kanzaki didn't want to make a futile effort, someone was willing to be foolish with him.
Helplessly, they formed a semi-circle, each placing a hand on Beifu. They began to concentrate, mobilizing the energy within them, trying to find a breakthrough. Beifu stood at the front, his expression fearful, but a hint of determination in his eyes.
"One, two, three," Kanzaki counted softly. As he said "three," they exerted their strength simultaneously, channeling their energy to Beifu, attempting to shake this powerful Sealed Field with their combined might.
Energy fluctuations rippled through the air, and their faces showed tension.
Their powers converged, forming a powerful shockwave that rushed towards the barrier of the Sealed Field.
However, the Sealed Field only trembled slightly before returning to its calm state. The barrier remained as impenetrable as ever, as if their efforts were merely a mantis trying to stop a chariot.
"How... how is this possible?" someone gasped, looking at their hands in disbelief.
Kanzaki withdrew his hand, his expression still calm, but a flicker of disappointment crossed his eyes.
He knew this would be the outcome, but he had also hoped for a miracle. Unfortunately, it was all in vain; miracles weren't that easy to come by.
"We did our best," Kanzaki said softly, his voice devoid of blame, carrying only a faint acceptance.
They stepped back a few paces, looking at each other. Though disappointment was etched on their faces, their eyes still gleamed with an unyielding light.
"Kanzaki," one of them broke the silence, his voice tinged with anticipation and urgency, "tell us the second method."
Kanzaki turned to face them, his eyes revealing no emotion, maintaining his composure. He took a deep breath and then slowly spoke, "The second method is to find the weak point of the Sealed Field. Theoretically, every Sealed Field has a weakness, and a small amount of energy is enough to disrupt the entire field."
"Unfortunately, our strength is insufficient, and we can't capture the energy's trajectory, so..."
Itozawa's eyes lit up, his voice carrying a hint of excitement, "My ability might be able to see through the energy flow and find that Weak Point Node."
Kanzaki's words were once again cut short. He couldn't help but roar inwardly. Why did someone always show up to prove him wrong when he said something was impossible?
However, he maintained a smile on his face, "Alright, then Itozawa, you try. Remember, don't push yourself too hard."
Itozawa nodded, then closed his eyes, concentrating, and began to sense the direction of the energy flow.
His brow furrowed, and his expression changed with the flow of energy, as if he were drawing a complex energy map in his mind.
His hands trembled slightly, and fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead, clearly indicating that this attempt was not easy for him.
The others stood by quietly, their gazes fixed on Itozawa. They knew that the success or failure of this attempt might determine whether they could successfully break the Sealed Field.
Time ticked by, and Itozawa's expression grew increasingly tense. His body began to tremble slightly, clearly having poured all his energy into finding the Weak Point Node.
Finally, Itozawa opened his eyes. A hint of exhaustion, but also excitement, appeared on his face. "I found it," his voice trembled slightly, "the Weak Point Node is located in the center of the office roof."
As soon as he finished speaking, a flicker of surprise appeared on everyone's faces, but it was quickly overshadowed by disappointment. The location of the Weak Point Node meant they were powerless. Not to mention they couldn't just break into the school's office for one student, even if they had the resolve, whether they could break it was a big question mark.
Someone, still unwilling to give up, asked Itozawa, "Itozawa, since you can see through the energy flow, can you follow the energy flow and guide a small stream of energy to the node?"
Itozawa shook his head, indicating his inability to do so.
Kanzaki added from the side, "Even if he could, he wouldn't be able to do what you're asking. Because the Weak Point Node itself is independent of the entire energy flow route. It's precisely because it has an unavoidable point of no energy that a mere trace of energy can break the entire field. Therefore, it must be broken from the outside."
The atmosphere in the room suddenly fell silent, and everyone's spirits flagged.
Just then, Ichinose spoke up, "Everyone, don't give up so easily. Kanzaki, tell us the third method."
Kanzaki nodded, a thoughtful glint in his eyes. He knew this method might be their last hope, or perhaps the most difficult one.
He spoke slowly, his voice calm and clear: "The third method is to find an energy that counters the ability of Class C's homeroom teacher, thereby disrupting their energy flow."
He continued to explain: "Every Ability User has a specific frequency and attribute to their energy. If we can find a counteracting energy, we can sever the energy flow and cause this field to collapse. However, we know nothing about Class C's homeroom teacher's ability, so..."
Disappointment was etched on their faces, their movements becoming sluggish, as if all their strength had been drained away.
Just as they were dejected and at a loss, Ichinose suddenly proposed a suggestion: "Let's ask Hoshimiya-sensei for help."
"Since Class C's homeroom teacher can create a field with impunity, it means no other teachers are in the office. That means the teacher must be in the Teacher Dormitory, so I can go to the Teacher Dormitory to find her."
Ichinose's voice was soft, but her words carried a firm strength. Determination flickered in her eyes, clearly showing she was ready to act.
Itozawa and the other classmates exchanged glances, hope reignited in their eyes.
They knew this might be their last lifeline, their only chance to save Shibata.
They quickly composed themselves, ready to follow Ichinose to the Teacher Dormitory to seek Hoshimiya-sensei's help.
