An Anomaly in the Classroom

After Itozawa returned to the classroom, he suddenly felt an uncomfortable sensation coming from his ability.

He found it strange. This wasn't the first time he'd felt this discomfort; his ability was sensitive to changes in his surroundings. He decided to make a round of the classroom and use his ability to sense things carefully.

With Kanzaki's help and his own hard work, Itozawa could now maintain a sensing field one meter around his body. It wasn't very large, but it was enough for him to detect subtle changes.

He slowly walked around the classroom, closed his eyes, focused his Mental Power, and expanded his perception as far as he could before moving around the room.

His brows furrowed as he carefully picked out every subtle fluctuation. His classmates noticed his odd behavior and turned curious gazes his way.

Suddenly, Itozawa stopped. He opened his eyes and made a startling announcement: "Someone's been in our classroom."

His classmates exchanged bewildered looks. "Ito, do you mean someone was just in our classroom? But weren't we in class just now? Could it have been a student from Class C?"

Itozawa took a deep breath and explained, "My ability is sensitive to changes in the environment. I can sense that someone entered our classroom while we were at swimming class."

His words made the atmosphere tense at once. The students exchanged glances, trying to identify a possible intruder. Someone suggested checking their belongings to see whether anything had been stolen or disturbed.

Itozawa continued, "I don't know who it was or what they wanted. But I know they left traces behind. I can sense them."

The students gathered around. Some tried to recall what things had been like before they left the classroom, hoping to find a clue.

"We need to tell a teacher," Ichinose said gravely. "If someone broke into our classroom, that could be a security issue."

Itozawa continued carefully sensing the classroom. His brows were furrowed; the presence felt strangely familiar.

He frowned. It seemed like Kamuro's presence. Cautiously, he voiced his suspicions: "It seems like someone from Class A left this presence behind."

He didn't name Kamuro directly, so as to avoid causing unnecessary misunderstandings.

As soon as Shibata heard it was someone from Class A, he grew agitated and prepared to go confront them. "How can we let this go? We can't just sit back. I'm going to ask them what they think they're doing!"

Kanzaki stayed relatively calm and stopped Shibata. "Wait, Shibata. We have no proof. If we go confront Class A like this, we'll only get ourselves into trouble."

Ichinose spoke up, her voice calm and firm. "Shibata, we need to stay calm. The most important thing now is making sure everyone's belongings are safe, not picking a fight with Class A. Let's check our things first, then tell a teacher and let them handle it."

Itozawa nodded in agreement. "Ichinose is right. Let's check our belongings and see if anything's missing or has been moved. Then we can report this to Hoshimiya-sensei."

Shibata was still reluctant, but Kanzaki and Ichinose managed to calm him down. He muttered, "Fine, but we can't just let them get away with it."

Kanzaki patted Shibata on the shoulder. "Don't worry. If someone from Class A really did this, we'll find a way to deal with it."

The students began checking their belongings and reminding one another to be careful.

Itozawa and Ichinose decided to report the incident to Hoshimiya-sensei after she finished teaching later. They knew she would offer sensible advice and a solution.

The atmosphere in the classroom was tense, but the students remained united and composed.

They knew that only through cooperation and resourcefulness could they survive in this challenging environment.

"What are you all discussing?" Hoshimiya-sensei's voice suddenly rang out, warm but tinged with curiosity. Her gaze passed over each student's face as she waited for an answer. The students were interrupted by her sudden question. They looked at one another, seeming hesitant and unsure how to respond.

Ichinose spoke up and explained, "Teacher, Ito just found out that someone came into our classroom while we were at swimming class."

Hoshimiya-sensei frowned and prepared to spread her Mental Power to investigate.

Itozawa suddenly realized what Kamuro might be planning and hurriedly stopped Hoshimiya-sensei. "Hoshimiya-sensei, please wait."

Hoshimiya-sensei paused, a hint of confusion in her eyes. "Itozawa, what is it?"

Itozawa took a deep breath, his voice firm. "I think the people from Class A may be trying to get Hoshimiya-sensei to investigate. It would be better to ask another teacher to look into it."

The atmosphere in the classroom suddenly grew tense. The students' eyes shifted between Itozawa and Hoshimiya-sensei. Shibata was impatient; he sprang to his feet and waved his arms. "We can't just let this go. We should go to Class A and confront them!"

Kanzaki stayed fairly calm. He held Shibata back and said evenly, "Shibata, calm down. We can't act rashly."

Ichinose spoke up too, her voice gentle but firm. "Shibata, we don't want to start a conflict with Class A. The most important thing now is to be careful and avoid unnecessary trouble."

Itozawa nodded, a resolute look in his eyes. "That's right. Let's observe the situation first, then decide what to do."

Hoshimiya-sensei watched the students' reactions, her expression shifting from puzzled to serious. She nodded in understanding. "All right. I'll ask another teacher to investigate. You're right to be cautious. The most important thing now is to stay calm."

The atmosphere in the classroom gradually settled. The students began talking quietly, their eyes still wary. Itozawa knew this matter wouldn't end here. They would need to be even more careful to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
