Background / History
Sudo grew up with parents whose drinking, delinquency and petty crime shaped his view of himself. He came to believe he could not rise above his family circumstances, neglected his studies and developed a habit of venting frustration through anger. Basketball remained the pursuit to which he was willing to devote himself 41 57.
At school, Sudo protested Horikita Suzune’s strict proposal for improving D Class. He later failed a midterm despite receiving answers in advance: his English score was 39, below the revised passing mark of 41. Facing expulsion, he rejected Tenyo Yuyuki’s offer to recommend him to a Tokyo basketball team, insisting on earning a professional career through his own ability. His expulsion was lifted after Private Points were used to buy the failing scores 18 39 40 41.
Sudo subsequently faced a complaint over a fight with C Class students. He maintained that they had attacked first, but his reputation made classmates doubt him. Ryuen Kakeru eventually withdrew the complaint; Sudo remained angry at being treated as though Ryuen had spared him 45 56.
