Background / History
Bibi Dong was Martial Soul Hall's Saintess and a student of the previous Pope, Qian Xunji. During that period, she met Yu Xiaogang and fell in love with him. According to Ye Mu's account, she intended to abandon her Saintess position and leave with Yu Xiaogang when Qian Xunji tried to drive him away. An unspecified subsequent incident left her in Martial Soul Hall and destroyed her relationship with her teacher 2.
She later became Pope, managing religious affairs, internal power balances, and pressure from the Heaven Dou and Star Luo empires. Although she performed these duties effectively, she did not enjoy the position and welcomed Ye Mu's willingness to take responsibility for continental unification 331.
Alternate-world identity
- Later-era histories describe a Bibi Dong who became the Rakshasa God and died in the conflict with Tang San. Those records initially make people doubt the living Bibi Dong's identity 240 321 425.
- She explicitly tells Ju Zi that she comes from ten thousand years earlier, but not from the earlier history of Ju Zi's world. Her appearance is therefore not a resurrection of that world's dead Pope 433.
- She reaches the later era through Ye Mu's Space-Time Portal; this travel is not presented as her own innate ability 240.
Appearance
Bibi Dong has a mature, well-proportioned figure and a cold, majestic bearing 238.
- Hair: Long and purple; sometimes loosely pinned with a silver hairpin outside formal duties 332 364.
- Complexion: Snow-white skin and red lips 238.
- Eyes: Violet before ascension; dark purple afterward, with two oppositely rotating star-like vortices deep in her pupils 413.
- Formal clothing: Purple-gold papal robes or a long dress embroidered with dark, faintly shimmering patterns 238 336.
- Divine manifestation: A vast purple phantom with nine dark-purple ribbons appears behind her upon completing the Rakshasa inheritance 413.
Personality
Bibi Dong combines political intelligence with emotional pride. Ye Mu's revelations about Yu Xiaogang embarrass and anger her, particularly when viewers ridicule her judgment. She initially insists that she will personally cripple Yu Xiaogang to prove she is not the “blind fool” they describe, while later acknowledging that her affection has faded substantially 2 4.
She is ruthless toward enemies and adept at identifying personal vulnerabilities. When Tang Yuehua loses the will to live, Bibi Dong advises threatening the family and sect Tang Yuehua values most. Liu Erlong follows that advice, successfully provoking a response 24 37.
Her sense of responsibility is concrete: she handles Hall affairs in the morning, cultivates in the afternoon, and chats with livestream viewers while working. She states that holding the Pope's position means being responsible for everyone, despite privately disliking the burden 28 331.
The livestream gradually brings out a more sociable side. She jokes about her wealth, enjoys watching the younger viewers, and becomes noticeably less quick-tempered. Hu Liena observes the improvement before Bibi Dong recognizes it herself 32 130 136. Ye Mu's praise also affects her strongly; his recognition of her leadership leaves her visibly pleased 26.
Abilities & Skills
Twin Martial Souls

- Cultivates her first martial soul before developing the second; the second's attached Soul Rings are all ten-thousand-year or older 59.
- Still has unfilled Soul Ring slots on her second martial soul when discussing beasts older than two hundred thousand years 31.
- Manifests both spider martial souls to establish her identity before Ice Empress and Snow Empress 240.
Undying Body
- A Soul Skill obtained from a hundred-thousand-year Death Spider Emperor 31.

- Provides Ye Mu with a notebook of cultivation guidance for Xiao Xiao 243.
- Recognizes that simultaneous use of Twin Martial Souls is immensely difficult 222.
Self Martial Soul Fusion Research
- Ye Mu proposes combining her two powerful spider martial souls into a fusion skill performed by one person 76.
- The proposal requires sufficient Spiritual Power to control both martial souls simultaneously 76.
- She considers it promising but potentially dangerous, and later anticipates a substantial strength increase if it works 76 222.
- No completed Self Martial Soul Fusion Skill is documented in the supplied chapters.
Perception and Combat Analysis
- Uses cultivation-enhanced eyesight to locate the concealed entrance near Ah Yin's waterfall even though she cannot project Spiritual Power through the livestream 29.
- Identifies Xiao Wu's weak offensive options and the physical disparity between her and Ye Mu 9.
- Cannot sense Xiao Wu's Soul Beast aura merely by watching her remotely; proximity matters 5.
Rakshasa Divine Power
- Her completed inheritance produces dark-purple divine radiance, immense spiritual pressure, and visible distortions in the space around her 413.
- Fights the later-era Tang Hao with a demon scythe. His hammer strikes force her back several yards, demonstrating that he exceeds her in raw strength during that exchange 416.
- Her revelation as the Rakshasa God convinces Xu Jiawei that resistance is futile, securing the later-era Star Luo Empire's surrender 428.
- Moves Ju Zi to the Spirit Hall Empire's camp so quickly that Ju Zi experiences only blurred vision and rushing wind 433.

- Intelligence: Rebuilds the Hall's reporting network with Ye Mu into the Brocade Guard, a spy department directly subordinate to the Pope's office 353.
- Governance: Implements Ye Mu's institutional manuals, adapts policies to local conditions, and records proposed revisions rather than following the manuals mechanically 397.
- Education and cultivation access: Expands elementary schooling, Spirit Soul Pagodas, and Contractor training throughout the unified empire 397.
