Ye Mu begins at Nuoding Academy as a twelve-year-old level 29 Soul Master. Through a livestream system visible to viewers including Bibi Dong, Qian Renxue, Ning Rongrong, and others, he receives resources, combat enhancements, Soul Power increases, and Martial Soul Evolution Materials. His Cavalry Martial Soul grants exceptional travel speed and a Soul Power reserve several times greater than that of ordinary Soul Masters at the same level 1 7 28.
