After discussing the phone issue, Bai Jing turned his attention back to Banner.
He hadn't forgotten why he was here.
Focusing his mind, his consciousness suddenly, vaguely, sensed a dimensional space!
There was only one dimensional space that was easily sensed; most others required a very high level of mental cultivation.
Some spaces only opened at specific times and specific locations, closing once that time passed, like the space that sealed the Aether.
Others were hidden very well, undetectable from a distance, only perceivable up close, like the one inside Banner.
Its connection point to Earth was within Banner; it moved when Banner moved, so ordinary Mages naturally couldn't sense it.
Perhaps the Ancient One had sensed it, otherwise, there would be no reason for her to project Banner's spirit out upon meeting him. One should know that this step was actually an introductory method for Mages.
And Banner smoothly mastered the green energy within him, which might not have been without the Ancient One's help.
"This dimension..." Bai Jing was a bit speechless. It felt like there was no difference between sensing it and not sensing it.
Because its opening was inside Banner, it was very small. Unless Banner got angry, he couldn't draw out much energy.
As for sending his spirit in?
The passage was too small to enter!
This wasn't an open dimension; it seemed completely sealed, with only a tiny opening to the outside.
Bai Jing opened his eyes and looked at the clueless Banner.
Carrying a personal dimension filled with strange energy – if other Mages knew, they would probably be envious to death!
He was so smart, his memory and learning speed no worse than mine. If he were to study Magic, he might even have the potential to be the Sorcerer Supreme!
After all, doesn't the Sorcerer Supreme draw energy from the Dark Dimension? Banner had his own personal dimension and his own transformation energy, so he wouldn't need Dormammu at all.
He was the chosen Sorcerer Supreme!
The key was that he possessed a golden finger and didn't even know it, constantly worrying about his abilities, and on top of that, his girlfriend's boss was stopping him!
What was this?
This was the protagonist who had received the engagement-breaking genre script!
"Professor Banner, do you want to learn Magic?" Bai Jing asked.
"Huh?" Banner was bewildered. "I'm a scientist, what are you doing trying to convert me?"
"I'll take you to meet someone!" Bai Jing decisively opened a teleportation portal.
Banner stared blankly as Bai Jing waved his fingers, then blankly at the circular hole cut open in the air, stunned: "This, this..."
What is this?
Your battery technology is decades ahead of its time, fine, but you even have teleportation portal technology?
This is centuries ahead of the world!
He felt his worldview being somewhat subverted!
"Come, follow me!" Bai Jing pulled Banner and stepped through the teleportation portal.
The bright sunshine on the other side shocked Banner. He murmured, "This sun angle, ten o'clock in the morning, is this Asia?"
"Yes, Nepal, Kathmandu!" Bai Jing said. "A group of Mages live here. I think you have the aptitude to learn Magic, so I'm bringing you to meet the teachers here!"
"Impossible, how can Magic exist? This is completely unscientific!" Banner's mouth opened, but he spoke without conviction. The monster inside him couldn't even be explained by Science yet!
"I think it's very scientific. Because I found that the energy used by Magic also follows the law of conservation of energy; it doesn't appear out of thin air, nor does it disappear into thin air, it only transforms from one form to another!" Bai Jing said. "This might also be a Science, an undiscovered Science, just that the people here call it Magic!"
Hearing this, Banner found it much more acceptable.
He followed Bai Jing up the stairs and arrived in the large hall that looked like a yurt.
The Ancient One often drank tea here.
"Why have you come!" the Ancient One said, looking up and seeing Banner.
"What do you think of him? I think he's very suitable for learning Magic; he has the bearing of a Sorcerer Supreme!" Bai Jing said.
He was serious.
The Ancient One nodded. "You indeed have the potential to become the Sorcerer Supreme, but not in this timeline!"
"Me, huh?" Banner looked back at Bai Jing. He didn't know who the Ancient One was, her status, or what a Sorcerer Supreme was. At this moment, he felt bewildered, very bewildered.
However, his intelligence was extraordinary, and he knew it wasn't the time to speak, so he silently observed.
"Time is a river. When a person makes different choices, different branches are created!" the Ancient One said. "But the branches created by ordinary people are too weak to make any ripples and will be swept back into the great current!"
"But special people are different!" the Ancient One looked at Banner.
His original life path should have been to travel around, first to South America, then to India, and finally to Nepal.
At this moment, Loki had stolen the Space Stone, so Natasha was sent to invite Banner for help.
Banner had two choices: one was to accept Natasha's invitation, which would lead to him joining the Avengers, becoming a hero, and finally developing a time machine to save the world.
The second was to refuse Natasha, and then, during his travels, he would learn of Kamar-Taj's existence and eventually join Kamar-Taj, becoming a Sorcerer Supreme.
But neither of these things will happen in this timeline.
Because this world has an outsider, Bai Jing, a visitor from another world who possesses the power to distort space and time. He easily carved out his own path in the river of time, unaffected by temporal backlash.
This path belongs to Bai Jing, so even the Ancient One doesn't know what changes he will make to this timeline.
This feeling is great!
"Do you want him to learn magic?" the Ancient One asked, looking at Bai Jing.
"Yes!" Bai Jing nodded. "I'm curious!"
Knowing the plot is really boring; it means life has no changes and is devoid of interest.
Who would want to live a life where the future is predictable?
He already knows what the Hulk looks like, but he doesn't know what a Hulk who can use magic would be like!
"What are your wishes?" the Ancient One asked Banner, looking at him again. Banner had the potential to become the Sorcerer Supreme and could naturally become a force to resist darkness. The Ancient One was certainly willing to teach him.
"Well..." Banner scratched his head. Teleportation portals, magic – he was curious about them too, but he was also afraid that magic would overturn his life and worldview of the past few decades!
"Learning magic can solve the problem within you!" Bai Jing added from the side.
"I'll learn!" Banner immediately nodded.
"Alright, then you shall stay!" the Ancient One nodded, then looked at Bai Jing. "It's best not to use the power of magic outside. Magic was born to protect this world!"
"I understand!" It seemed the Ancient One already knew Bai Jing had been to the future, but since she said this, it meant the Ancient One didn't forbid Bai Jing from going out.
"Then I'll be going now!" Bai Jing said.
Seeing the Ancient One nod, Bai Jing immediately went out, passed through his yet-unclosed space portal, returned to Banner's room, and then shouted, "Someone, inform the high-ranking members of the Order Society, we're having a meeting!"
